Love this, filthy rich and catflap has great jokes all the way through.. just because it wasn't as successful, doesnt mean it's not funny. its rik and ade at there best!

Really like this sitcom but Bottom took everything that made it great and magnified it infinitely.

Rik and Ade are absolute legends of comedy, they were true pros. (And still are I'm sure.)

Couldn't agree more - this is such an overlooked series. There was supposed to be second episode by Rik and Ade thought they could do better on their own: look at the result, "Bottom" - FR&CF is far superior...

Yep. I think FRC is way better than Bottom, but Elton was a way better sitcom writer - he was brought in to do BlackAdder after the first series and look how much that improved. I still think Bottom is great at times and at least Rik and Ade really tried to create comedy out of a totally reprehensible character (remember Richie's birthday party?). The Gasman episode is brilliant as well. But Rik and Ade rule and I love everything they do.
