We pay 6% sales tax here in Michigan. I would like to pay 18% total tax on my earnings, which means that if I make $100.00 I would pay $18.00 to support my government.. 10% to my church so a total of 28% which means I would walk home with 72.00.. thats allot better than coming home after buying a pizza, paying for gas, paying taxes, and coming home empty handed cause it all went to taxes.
