Ginga Densetsu Weed is my second favorite anime work, below only its predecessor, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, also by Yoshihiro Takahashi to me. The shots of the individual main characters are the best of the intro. John and Jerome are my two favorite characters with John at the top. I wish they both had lived through the entire anime. At least they died fighting, John standing against Hougen and Jerome working to save Weed. It is really too bad John does not live through the manga while Jerome does.

there's 2 mangas, Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion (direct sequel to GDW) and Ginga Densetsu Riki (story of Riki, d'uh!). so my guess is that GDW:O will come out as anime :p and the one about Riki is so short that it would make a great movie ^^
