Tails Doll did not want to be mocked, so he implanted his famous curse into the game. The only safe copy is on Sonic Gems Collection. PS2 version had to be praised by the Pope and baptized over 9000 times. The Gamecube had Magic Crystals, so the curse was filtered. Until, that is, some idiot played Can You Feel the Sunshine backwards, spawning yet another curse.

You have to either find him by midnight or keep a shadow the hedgehog doll by your side for the rest of your nights. without a shadow doll if you dont find him by midnight the day the curse is released and you hear a demonic growl...you're dead...

The Tails Doll was an unlockable character in the racing game Sonic R, for the Sega Saturn. While actually a robot created by Dr. Robotnik, its lifeless, ghost-like movements have created a meme of sorts.
