  • Could call it Shufflepong?

  • I actually have really fond memories of those chiptune songs on cracked Amiga games. I even had a casstte that was full of ones I recorded from my Amiga 1200. Don't know what that says about me. :S

  • It's not Pong, it's table hockey.

  • HA! I though it was impossible, but the developers were very cleaver with that drunk effect! :D

  • Kiko + Amiga for the win. I can just think of a begilion games you could LP. Did I just hear someone shout "Ice Cream."

  • So, Lexan isn't impossible to beat. Hipoonios scored the first point in the match.

  • Dear god, those eyes... I was planning on going to bed after this video.

  • The continuous act of calling this game pong makes me wonder if the brits have ever heard of air hockey.

  • @fatezero Certainly have - we have that here. However, I find that it's more apt to compare this game to the game that started off this genre of gaming.

  • I always sucked at this game, but it was endlessly fun to try.

  • On the plus side, at least Kiko isn't losing to a stationary paddle.

  • Kiko, I love you. You are currently the only one of my subscriptions that is actually uploading anything worth watching and therefore relieving me slightly of my boredome.

  • This game is pretty neat

  • I love all these One off Series. You do an amazing job of them and frankly they are just enjoyable!

  • Am I the only one who feels that screen with the players looks like something out of Mos Eisley cantina or Jabba's palace? :D

  • I hope you do Amiga games in the future.

  • Thanks a bunch for this LQP Kiko!

  • this game is a heretic, how dare it claim that drinking somehow decreases your ability to play games! -_-

  • @Wilks228 Good sir I encourage you to get to yon drinking, and then try your hand at baseball. the resulting either awsome drunken win, or hilarious slap stick comics shall be worth while.

  • In a way this game reminds me of Grand Monster Slam. One-on-one sport played against a bunch of colorful opponents from a similar perspective.

  • I really like the trick behind Lexan that's pretty cool.

  • This brings me back. I seem to remember this game getting a port to one of those retro collections, which made me realize how quickly we become old these days.

  • Lexan cheats big time. I call bullshit on him.

  • aeyyyyyyyyyyyyy to you to!

  • An opponent named Visine who has large clear eyes.

  • Let this be a lesson to all you viewers out there: real winners never drink.

  • "Stop laughing at me!"

    I totally was :)

  • remember this game ripped my arm off ;) you should use 7400dpi mouse it helps a little!!!

  • Kiko vs Harry Potter lol

hmmm... Ever thought of playing Diablo?

  • Not sure if it's your thing, but it would be great to see some Turrican 2!

  • Hey, Visine plays the way I would.

  • Amiga 500? Amiga five hundred, you say!? Luxury. I played this game on the CPC464; loaded it from magnetic tape and had to watch a three minute loading screen between each foe.

And you try telling that to the young folk today...

  • @CPCGamer But one fact remains - young folk doesn't know what is gameplay which has quality

  • @crogeek Quality gameplay is the one where you make all the graphics shiny, right?

  • @CPCGamer Nope, quality where you can play game for several months at one singleplayer game

  • @CPCGamer

Im 23 and I remember loading games from a tape on a Commodore 64.

  • V1.0 ftw.

  • Oh gosh I loved this game, probably one of my favourite games as a kid, and started my life-long obsession with Air Hockey.

Still looks just as satisfying and fun as I remember. I did always end up cheating for some of the enemies though, making my paddle wider, but I never knew there were actually tricks to beating them (eg, Lexon's drinking)

Thanks for this blast from the past, good old days.

  • Vinnie just doesn't give a puck it seems.

  • I could swear I've seen that robot before. Perhaps he's one of Pipo's friends.

I've always been really terrible at pong/airhocky, so it's neat to see someone so skilled play it.

  • MORE AMIGA..... please

  • Wait, so your opponents so far have been two people who had no idea how to play, someone who didn't want to be there, and a drunk. And you beat them all horribly. What does that do for their fragile egos?

  • It is more air hockey since you're hitting the puck as opposed to the puck moving by itself.

  • This was also a game from my childhood too, Kiko! Fun game.

  • 1989? Jesus! My first computergame was - Holiday Island, directly followed by Age of Empires, this was in 1997... But I have to say: It seems not as if I missed a lot! ;)

  • OH MY GOD?! SERIOUSLY!?

My god, you are amazing. This is another game from my childhood!

  • kiko has to pay a lot of windows..

  • Why always to fifteen, being ahead by five would be a suitable point to advance.

  • Wow, what are the odds? Just this weekend I was reading an old issue of Game Player's Magazine that talked about this game!

  • I miss the Amiga 500 ( I think we had a the plus version as well) My favorite game was Ports of Call which came with the computer. A friend and I would play that game for hours on end. And then we would curse as a ship would sink due to bad weather or something.

  • I would say air hockey before pong

  • Oh, but for an opportunity to play on an Amiga! You're a lucky guy Kiko.

  • Great memories, this is an awesome game. I remembered the opponents as soon as I saw them. Thank you Kiko, and I hope you'll play lots more Amiga games.

  • An Amiga game! Kiko, you're officially full of awesome! :D

  • YES Thankyou Kiko <3 loved this game

  • Anyone else reminded of the bar in Beyond Good and Evil? I almost expected the pig to be named Pey'j.

  • Actually, it has the pong style rear wall instead of air hockey. You can score anywhere in this game, even in the corners. In Air Hockey, you can only score in an area in the center 1/3 of the rear wall

  • So... Broderbond created Prince of Persia and... this.

  • If Lexan drinks that much while winning, how much does he down when losing?

    *Lexan drops to the floor*

Well, thankfully, that wasn't the alcohol poisoning I had thought would happen.

  • Comment removed

  • I have to agree with other commenters, this is more air hockey than pong.

  • It's air hockey, not pong ;)

  • hm i usd to beat Final Fantasy IX's very last boss while being drunk and it was from my first attempt mind you!

  • You got and Amiga and an Amiga emulator and you've yet to LP Deuteros? What's up with that?

  • Reminds me of an old game on my Mac called Smash Puck, down to the shatttering glass. I think it was shareware. Didn't have any characters, though. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a direct ripoff.

  • Oh god, I remember this. My sister used to force me off of UFO so she could play it. That and Grand Monster Slam.

  • Reminds me more of air hockey than pong. Before me and my wife were married we would always challenge one another at the local bar to a game of air hockey. We had some legendary battles.

  • the game is more like air hockey than pong... isn't it?

  • A drunken opponent? Hahaha that's priceless... Looks like fun mate!

  • 9-3*? :P

  • Oh god, amiga games! :D

    *hoping for a Superfrog LP*

I had Shufflepuck btw... I could however never beat it. And until proven otherwise I am going to assume it is unbeatable!

  • So this is pipos night job? X3

  • Watching Lexan drink whilst hungover made me a little ill :/

  • Oh man the nostalgia. I played this so much as a kid. Never did get to beat Biff though.

  • How'd you get an Amiga emulator running properly? I usually just get it to run awfully :(

  • @evilmiera He mentioned in the video he has an actual Amiga, not an emulator,

  • @DomEReapeR That he "had" an Amiga, but for this playthrough he is using an emulator

  • @Final559 He said he had one, but then got back into it and now he has an amiga + or something.

  • Reminds me of those air hockey machine things in Arcades... Those are cool

  • I remember playing this on Amiga 1200 lol.

  • It's footage like this that makes me wish I had an Amiga as a kid, not the crappy Amstrad IBM knockoff (that ran GEM, I have seen few other computers that did) that we did have.

  • I quite like the idea behind this game, that it's got unique ways to beat some opponents rather than just being a straight up pong clone :)

  • This is why i subbed Kiko we grew up playing these games and it's so nice to sit and watch classic games like this :)

  • Lordy, I remember playing this on an Apple IIe
