The "faith thing" caused my salvation through Jesus Christ. Science & technology didn't do it. But the blood of Christ did! The greatest innovations over the past 200 years have been spiritual.
We have done the by faith thing for 2000 years now. Let's do the by reason thing now and see what happens.
For the last 200 years the greatest innovations in science and technology have come by indifference to revelation. The less God the and the more reason the better for humanity.
@SamWiseGingy I am very astonished that the scientific picture of the real world around me is deficient. It gives a lot of factual information, puts all our experience in a magnificently consistent order, but it is ghastly silent about all and sundry that is really near to our heart, that really matters to us.
@higgboson It cannot tell us a word about red and blue, bitter and sweet, physical pain and physical delight; it knows nothing of beautiful and ugly, good or bad, God and eternity. Science sometimes pretends to answer questions in these domains, but the answers are very often so silly that we are not inclined to take them seriously.
we did this song in Worship today... We were blessed by God in many ways.... Thank you Keith & Kristyn for your passion and boldness of this message...
