@ mrjoelandis: well it all depends on how you treat your car man, "you get what you give". i have a buddy with one that's an 04 with 79k miles and not a thing wrong with it. and the engine in it is a inline 4 a853 which was one of Chrysler high end engines for the time, plus the pistons are forged (all tho the rods are not =( kinda sucks) and for 10k man i run low 14's high 13's so i cant complain.
if they can handle that much boost then why did a dude i know blow a head gasket at 60k and the other dude snap a timing belt and idled shitty at 25k? poorly made idk about that but the engine should be a lil beefer or lower boost there fast and nice but they get abused

Nope 4K , had a plugged cat and needs new tires and cv shafts, and the hood was painted, and has a few minor dents in it. but other then that it's clean. the only real mods where the forge WGA and the CAI, which he kinda butchered the CAI, but still, nothign else wrong, and my fionce went with me so we both know that i got it for 4K in minnesota

Agreed- I needed a four door "family" car and these neon's were a gem. Cheap- reliable- loves the mods/boost. I couldn't have chosen a better car w/in my price range. Nothing like walking a C6 Vet with your kids waving "bye bye" to them.

Check on the SRT forums but I would doubt it. Normally the people who still have their neon's still today cherish them and wouldn't trade it for any Clipse even if it were a GSX. There's been a few Clipse owners who came on looking for a trade and although some may have been AWD no one ever ends up trading with them. You can still find plenty of NSRT out there though- I've had 3 and bought them for about 10k all in great condition. Good luck.
Fun video to watch. And sicangel is absolutely right. Srt-4 has torque out the ass going to only 2 tires with a quaife LSD to put the power down. Midrange in the srt is very impressive. I don't know about it stomping the STI, but I've annhilated many a wrx in my srt-4.
Actually thats about right the WRX would pull on the low end because of that AWD system. Where the WRX loses is it has to take 235 ft/lbs of torque to all 4 wheels the faster it goes the harder it would be. The SRT has to put 250 to just 2 wheels. (in this case 1 since the earlier models didn't have LSD)

Agreed- I needed a four door "family" car and these neon's were a gem. Cheap- reliable- loves the mods/boost. I couldn't have chosen a better car w/in my price range. Nothing like walking a C6 Vet with your kids waving "bye bye" to them.

Check on the SRT forums but I would doubt it. Normally the people who still have their neon's still today cherish them and wouldn't trade it for any Clipse even if it were a GSX. There's been a few Clipse owners who came on looking for a trade and although some may have been AWD no one ever ends up trading with them. You can still find plenty of NSRT out there though- I've had 3 and bought them for about 10k all in great condition. Good luck.

Fun video to watch. And sicangel is absolutely right. Srt-4 has torque out the ass going to only 2 tires with a quaife LSD to put the power down. Midrange in the srt is very impressive. I don't know about it stomping the STI, but I've annhilated many a wrx in my srt-4.

Actually thats about right the WRX would pull on the low end because of that AWD system. Where the WRX loses is it has to take 235 ft/lbs of torque to all 4 wheels the faster it goes the harder it would be. The SRT has to put 250 to just 2 wheels. (in this case 1 since the earlier models didn't have LSD)
