No, it is meant to be E major. If you listen on the record, it's the same. It's called 'variation'. Not all songs have the same chords every verse/chorus. They put a happy chord in for effect - maybe to celebrate the arrival of the baby...

Did Glenn play the wrong chord over the "...down to an incubator..." part? I think it should be a B minor, looks like he played an E major.
