  • straight 'a never seen it yet,

  • wow i really want some take-out

  • the crunches were way too loud

  • Why was this in my recommended box?

  • This is so old! Saigon looks so dirty in this film. It is VERY different now.

  • @chaole1000 no it still looks the same, only a few selective part of saigon looks nice. it's still dirty overall...

  • I want a springroll now.

  • Damm I want some Spring Roll Now!! You make I give U dalla !!! LMAO

  • This video just made me hungry lol

  • 30% is not all. And I'm sure 30% itself is an exaggeration.

You think fishing for seafood is not conserving? People have been fishing for millions and millions of years. Fishing is just a natural act.

Building large cities and suburban areas are disregard for conservation. Sounds like the Canadians are more guilty of that than the Vietnamese.

  • I work in this area of government. It is 30% in the BC Lower Mainland. Vietnamese learned about marajuana from the American GI's. Also, the fishery I am talking about is the local shellfish industry, clams and oysters. We have rules about the size limits for harvesting, we had a problem with the Vietnamese specifically targetting the market and were consistently caught stripping beaches, and destroying the industry. Sorry this is the truth.

  • By 30% I'm not sure if you mean:

    - 30% of drug houses are owned by Vietnamese.

    - Or 30% of Vietnamese own drug houses.

Because I can assure you that not "all" Vietnamese in BC are in the "drug trade".

Yes, weed was introduced to VN by the GI. But I doubt that the generation that are dealing drugs now are from that era. They are the younger crowd that learned from their current urban environment, not their ancestral/cultural homeland. Otherwise you would see lots of opium and heroine instead.

  • 30% of the houses have been used as grow ops or Meth labs, ownership is public, and the names of the owners are often Vietnamese. VN in Canada tend to be arrivals in the last 15 years. I havn't met one who spoke English, just teenagers (they have their kids translate). Our experience is different than in the US. Your government is smarter than ours, more proactive against drug trade. I think you are right, Vietnamese come to Canada, sucked into the trade here.

  • The names are often Vietnamese, and just as often (if not more often) they are Canadian. Or some other race. You're an idiot.

  • you can say the same thing about any race. stfu!

  • I live in Canada too, and what the fuck are you talking about??? They're not ALL in the drug trade you stupid bitch.

  • @metemi true but canada is racial this days

  • Stripping our shores of seafood?? No, that is not true, again WTF are you talking about? Ignorant cow.

  • @Herstory4321 giving numbers on youtube without evidence lmao...yea i trust you.

  • Vietnam is a fascinating place filled with culture, tradition, and GREAT food. But regardless, this was a boring and uninformative documentary. Watch Anthony Bourdain's Vietnam episodes instead, they are MUCH MUCH better.

  • this is not a matter of food but the country. VietNam is like a springroll filled with bunch of ingredients and eventually presents an amazing kaleidoscope

  • love the words in the narrating. good writer.

  • i wouldnt trust those two long haired girls to wrap my eggrolls.
