Making the transition from a certain pathway of society to the next will increase complexity and therefore if our civilization or any civilization does not advance it's technology to a level of complexity at the same rate as the pathway's of civilization increase in complexity eventually there'll be a point where the whole thing will become unstable.

I've never thought about it, but SETI is only about 50 years old, while there are hundreds of billions of stars out there. Maybe the aliens would want to respond, but it takes many decades/centuries for our signal to reach them.

A reasonable method of looking for alien life forms on earth-like planets is to look for massive amounts of light possibly produced by cities they live in.

I believe there are other planets with intelligent civilizations out there and I was right there with him until he started to name his types of civilizations. The reason being is that we ALWAYS assume that if a civilization is advanced enough for interstellar travel that any theories that we have have been brought to fruition by them. Living in harmony with your surroundings is the way of the least resistance in the long run.

I believe there are other planets with intelligent civilizations out there and I was right there with him until he started to name his types of civilizations. The reason being is that we ALWAYS assume that if a civilization is advanced enough for interstellar travel that any theories that we have have been brought to fruition by them. Our Bibles do have some mistranslations in it. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance helps to ferret out the mistranslations by listing every word in the bible, it's verse, and the original word and meaning in both Hebrew and Greek languages it's derived from.

@eweutuberider You should correct yourself, Christianity IS perverted. The Westboro Baptist Church is a prime example of this. Your so called "loving" God according to the Bible, would promote the selling off of people daughters as sex slaves. I thought God was supposed to love ALL of his creations? How do you explain him killing the Egyptians because they weren't willing to give up their way of life that they lived for thousands of years before.
