Students Protest Mike Bishop's Tuition Hike at Wayne State

During a poor economy, when the state finds basic social services difficult to fund, it is fully reasonable for the State Senate to expect college students to pay more for tuition. Unlike K-12 education, college is not a right. To claim that Bishop refuses to adequately fund your education is to say that I, as a taxpayer, am not adequately funding your education.  Reasonably prices college options are important, but in the end, your education is your responsibility, not mine.
