They don't make irons with zero offset anymore. And offset is to prevent a slice not create a divot. If your not creating a divot its because your not swinging correctly. On a side note, this guy broke his wrists a bit to early.

This is a good explanation. Too many golfers don't lead with their hands, even if they are striking down, and never figure out how to make good contact with their irons.
