These are beautiful. And it really made me feel so much better when I saw the difference from your first sketch to the ones you have now. I fashion sketch and I learned to do it on my own. But I still need help with a few stuff. You guys are awesome!
Hi, I'm starting fashion design there in July 2010, and I thought I could draw until I saw your sketches. Both of you kick my butt at color, at detail, and shading. Can you give me any tips on how to better myself before getting there?
don't be discouraged! you are not required to know how to sketch before you come to FIDM! they will teach you everything you need to know. as both megan and michelle mentioned in this video, they both were rookies too. here's a tip: take Nancy Riegelman for both sketching 1 & 2... she's the one who wrote the book Nine Heads.... xoxo
