The Farplane Abyss is already a cake-walk from lvl 60... The only reason for lvl 99 that I can think of is the Via Infinito.

@TheSavior345 Just incase you still didn't get the black knight dress sphere, it's in bevelle in chapter 2. You get to an area with 3 lifts, 1 in front, and 2 at the sides, go up the left one, stand on 2 raised platforms, run south til you fall, go up top lift when back at bottom, jump on raised platform, go back down lift, go up right lift, go back down using left lift, go back up top lift, jump on raised platform, go back down, then up left lift, then go up north lift and get chest.

It took forever for me to get the perfect ending. I did everything Mission Complete and got the Mascot and all other dresspheres, but I was still stuck at 99%. Then I started story mode over and sided with New Yevon. I feel kind of dumb in retrospect. :P

It shows some easily managable monsters from the final dungeon - heck, you don't need level 99 to beat them. You barely need level 50 to beat the final boss(es).

@NingyoAijin For Vegnagun I think Dark Knight is the best class. Okay, against the Legs you won't hit those colored balls, but Darkness hits the entire field and makes it easier. VS Shuyin, an Alchemist with Item Lvl 2 and Mega Potion and mixing Haste onto the team is pretty good, too.

I only have Black Mage, Gunner, Samurai, Songstress, Thief, Warrior and White Mage.

@NingyoAijin I could be wrong, but you might still be able to gain Alchemist in Chapter 5 .. if not, have one of the girls as a White Mage with several Abilities unlocked and an accessory that increases her HP by 60%. Warrior is a good, class, but if you go the Catnip way, Gunner is better if the conditions are met ..

And I think DK can be picked up at any time, once you've entered Bevelle's Underlevels again.

@sqeaksquad he'll still have all his accessories, and everything's way easier to PWN then. Not to mention, beating the game in New Game Plus allows you to restart it AGAIN.... and In chapter five you can get Rabite's Foot, which raises luck by 100, which always gives a crit. and enemies always miss.
