  • hippies are so stupid. obama was a hippie once upon a tme in 1979. mccain 08

  • By the way stompers, congradulations on the marriages to your cousins. And don't forget to watch Hee-Haw tonight :^D

  • Carolina stompers enjoy making fun of people, don't they? Instead of making fun of others on Youtube, why don't you have a fair, public debate with the people you ridicule? But you won't will you? You know you'd lose. So, you'll just keep jeering others from where it's safe, here on Youtube.

  • Attacking a candidate running for a public office by ridiculing a particular religion practiced by a part of her constituency? Isn't that what neo-cons accuse the left of doing?

  • Christians opposed to Christmas say Jeremiah is plain — Christmas trees are sinful.

10:3 ... for one cutteth a tree out of the forest... with the axe.

10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers...

10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

    Can you stomp that?

  • I'd say if anyone worships a tree, Christmas or otherwise, they are spot on, that would be a sin because it'd be idol worship.

  • However this passage is speaking to carving wooden images and covering them with gold and silver to make idol gods as was custom in pagan worship in those days.

A cross reference is Isaiah 40:18-20

Isa 40:18-20 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? The image, a workman hath cast it, and the goldsmith overlayeth it with gold, and casteth for it silver chains.

  • In 2008 vernacular the passages in thier complete context simply mean; do not make idols of pagan gods. They have no life and are worthless to worship.

I don't know about you but I don't bow down to my Christmas tree or any other tree.

I tried not to stomp to hard :-Þ

  • Mark 8:23 And Jesus took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

24 And he looked up, and said, I SEE MEN AS TREES WALKING.

25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

~ Open your eyes, stompers! Your guides squint at a gnat and swallow a camel.

  • Founding Fathers incorporated Deistic thought, including Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Paine and George Washington.

Deism views nature as the metaphorical "word of God" and can be seen as the holy book of the Deist. Unlike these other methods, nature is not limited but is a vast expanse of knowledge and discovery for the Deist that can continue for life.

  • Consider Exodus 3:5 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I...

Years ago on Halloween, we placed dog-do in a paper bag on a porch, and lit it, quickly rang the doorbell... you'd surely stomp it!

  • "History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance..."

"On the dogmas of religion, as distinguished from moral principles, all mankind, from the beginning of the world to this day, have been quarreling, fighting, burning and torturing one another, for abstractions unintelligible to themselves and to all others, and absolutely beyond the comprehension of the human mind."

    ~ Thomas Jefferson

  • I'm pagan and I'm thinking of moving to Asheville. I hope other pagans do as well.

  • People of Asheville just dont understand that if they want our city to look great sometimes things have to be sacrificed. Putting a spell on a tree gets us nowhere and makes you people look like fools.

  • shake ur grove thang baby!

  • As it turns out, things are looking bad for the election of Elaine Lite.

Ms. Lite knew what she was doing their - I think its great she did the "dance" with the Pagans.

Ms. Lite is not for the the avg. working person here in Asheville.

When the dance occured, most working people were at hope after working all day except for Pagans & Ms. Lite.

    Thats my 3cents.

  • Preliminary Election Tally:

    Asheville City Council 1. Jan Davis (I): votes: 7,639 (21.4%) 2. Brownie Newman (I): votes: 6,613 (18.5%) 3. Bill Russell: votes: 5,568 (15.6%) 4. Bryan Freeborn (I): votes: 5,484 (15.4%) 5. Dwight Butner: votes: 5,367 (15.0%) 6. Elaine Lite: votes: 5,009 (14.0%)

    Seeing Elaine Lite finish last...PRICELESS!

  • I "do" know what an observant Jew is, having lived and fought alongside them in Israel and in America. The ceremony included a pagan prayer...and it not to the God of Abraham, Issaac and Jacob...an observant Jew (or Christian) is forbidden by the 1st Commandment from doing so...foreign gods and all...(continued next box)

  • Who cares that she did that? She's free to hang with anyone, and to believe in whatever, if she so desires. I'd prefer a PAGAN (not pegan) woman over a Pat Robertson clone in politics.

  • How bout a clip of a good christian mom drowning her children?

  • As a wiccan myself (that is a witch to the ignorant arses that made this ad) I don't really find this offensive but rather afraid that people that would use a religion as an attack stance still exist.

  • The burning times are over. We have freedom of religion in our country. There are much bigger problems in our society, folks. Why all the bickering back and forth between us and them, while our earth is being raped and destroyed on a daily basis? We only have one earth and I would like my great grandchildren to have a future.

  • Who said anything about burning?

What is wrong with pointing out a public person taking part in a public religious ceremony on public land?

We couldn't destroy the earth even if we wanted to do so, we are no where near that powerful.

  • i love it when self-proclaimed locals adopt fake drawls to try and make themselves sound more 'country'.

i dont think the clampits were from anywhere near carolina, tho. just for the record.

  • Carolina Stompers are currently in hot water with election laws for raising and spending money against candidates without declaring themselves a political attak group.

They exist only to slander others, and they can't spell.

  • Says the Kettle to the pot.(it's spelled attack)

Gordon, you are just silly, silly, silly!

You can uncross your fingers, we are not going away and we have broken not one single law. Be careful of your speech, you wouldn't want to get yourself in trouble for saying something untruthful.

  • What the illiterate (if one goes by the text in this piece of garbage) Stompers fail to mention is that the "tree-huggers" were in the right, and accomplished their mission. The tree still stands, and the mouth-breathing proto-fascists (actual fascism would require more intellectual rigor than these nimrods are capable of) make themselves look like idiots in response to it. All in all, a good day.

  • you go mom!!! hahaha...i thought scrutiny for witchcraft ended a thousand or so years ago..I hate to give this "organization" another youtube hit but I had to see this. Great exposure though, and the downhome country dialect really helps your cause!! :)

  • Actually she's not a pagan. She's Jewish.

But then, I wouldn't expect for this minor fact to get in your way.

Tree hugger? You got that right. Tree. Dogs. Cats. Old people. It never ends.

As for the Witch part. Depends on the mood she's it. Oh...you said W-itch. Well..never mind.

Anyway...thanks for all of the exposure. Name recognition is important and she doesn't have the budget or financial backing of the developers that you have.

So keep up the good work.

  • I don't think an observant Jew would participate in a Pagan Ritual, that kinda goes against the First Commandment.

  • Funniest Video you guys have ever made!!!
