I remember when this show first came the the states, it was l988, In order to get us up to date, it came on every night. I watched it faithfully and it kept me in a lot. Nowadays, if I didnt see it on the guide I would;nt know it was still in existance. It was a nice show when it was about Lou, and Arthur, and Den and Angie. It was nice to see people struggling financially, unlike in the US where everyone on TV has to be rich and beautiful. Thanks for posting

A really beautifil scene. This should be used in a flashback for Ian, or even the dialogue. It's also quite an unusual scene in that it's so long, and a LOT of dialogue! Anna Wing was a fantastic actress, such a genuine and loving portrayal of a gran who lived for her family. It's tender scenes like this that are missing from EastEnders these days.
