i was actually in the audience and most of us didn't know it was going to happen till we got there. they had choreographers throughout the crowd teaching everyone the dance before oprah got there so we could surprise her. they people in this were not hired it was just random people who showed up wanting to see the show.

i was actually there and oprah had no clue it was going to happen. I had no clue it was going to happen till i showed up. they told the audience they wanted everyone to do a dance and they had everyone learn it before oprah got there so we could surprise her. we worked on the dance all day. she wasn't acting she was actually shocked.

1. About 20 choreographers sent out calls for Oprah fans who liked to dance.

2. Over 800 people responded. Choreo's taught dance to those 800 people.

3. Those 800 people went out and taught dance to rest of audience members.

VOILA! Thousands of people moving in sync to the same beat! WONDERFUL! Stand up, Chi-town!
