  • BOV sounds like old herbert from family guy,

  • nice seeing a old ca in action!

  • Someone had a small oil leak that caught fire lol before you drive a tuned car always check for leaks

  • "Yo yo yoo! kill it.. Yo kill it, its on fire, kill it, kill it!" lol :)

  • and thats what happens when u have short ass sidewalls lol

  • shit it was fun while it lasted

  • @okel91The CA18DET weighs 269lbs (same exact weight as a 4AGE). The SR20DET weighs 330lbs. Get your facts straight next time "bro".

  • Sounds like a baby bird that fell out of a tree.

  • @Vanz180sx Funny as hell my friend... As if the baby bird had huge wings too and was trying to fly....

  • So what the hell happened lol

  • Wasting extrem.. oO

  • yo man whatd u do to have it catch on fire yo that was mad tyte i wann install that on my car.

  • what are the numbers for this??

  • Its tweeting like a bird.

  • Its a shame that the time of fun cars is over, now its all eco terrorist hatchbacks with 97.1mpg, 3.4hp and -25 fun

  • why was the engine on fire?

  • wow that was crazy. sweet car. what was that flame? didnt look like it was from the tires, were you dragging something or did you break a seal in front of the turbo exhaust manifold?

  • Very nice man! I hope to have a ca18 in my hatch soon! :)

  • bad ass ca what kinda diff you using?

  • What does this fool exspect LOL sound id nice tho GT-R power the way forward......

  • nice car, maybe someday I will get a one.. 3years...

  • waste of tires when u could have fun drifting!

  • favorite engine, not feeling the ssqv.

    blitz dd>ssqv.

  • Nice car! and Im not being sarcastic homie

  • @nafissjarrell Thank's bro

  • One does whatever he feels like with his car. Personally i feel bad with all that work done to use the car for donuts and burnouts. But hey, not my car so i will stfu.

  • @c16xe This was just for fun if you watch some of my other video's you will see the car at the track and on the dyno and more videos to come cheer's

  • @c16xe I mean, i'm sure he doesn't go outside and do this every single time he starts his car. That goes for everyone on youtube, 90% of the people who video tape themselves doing donuts, probably dont do it everytime they drive somewhere. The other 10%, well....lol.

  • @hurilo just asked to make sure a fully built 18det wasnt used like that. not my business but i was curious and owner says it doesnt so all is good

  • all i see is you trying to drift and spinning out and blowing your engine good job :)

  • @99cham1 lmao the oil line caught on fire it had a slight leak and the wastegate caught it up.

  • @silviatricks what do u have for an exhaust? do u have an 2step? antilag?

  • LOLZ! Stoopid drifterz...

  • @hankslaw Peace of Shit really what the fuck have you got that is so much better. Bet you couldn't even build a motor by yourself. Let alone know how to handle a car with power. So what if my oil line had a slight leak n caught on fire that shit got fixed the same day. When you know What The Fuck You are Talking about before you Speak than comment on my Videos

  • @silviatricks hell yeah man, that dude is a joke.

  • Comment removed

  • Im lovin da machine gun fire from 0.16/0.18 ;) Fair play!

  • my dream.

  • ah cnt wait gettin my 200sx turbo s13 2moro for 500euro and im only thirteen

  • poor s13

  • NOOB wild uncontrolled mustang donuts... reckless, stuuupid, and waste of tire.

those idiots! if someone's shit catches fire, yell out: "FIRE!!!!" ...not "yo yo yo! kill it, yo kill it."

my 240 drift car would bus into flames quite often depending on amount of time driven at one time without engine shutoff BECUZ, i had turbo waste gate open dump tube before the firewall so all the black unburned excess fuel would blast out the pipe and spray on the firewall. if not wiped, the firewall catches

  • i love how the blow off valve is going apeshit. sounds funny as hell. what kind of pressures are you running through it?

  • nice build. but bulletproof my ass. i destroyed mine

  • I used to have a 200SX... I still love that car! CA18DET !!!!

  • overdrive your on crack if u think a ca is stronger then a sr.. but if u think so to each his own

  • @240sxkyle Ca18det's are stronger they have an iron block and hydraulic lifters with no heavy rocker arms like n sr thats why you sr people need rocker arm stoppers to rev when a CA will rev well above 8 in stock form im not saying its still making power but it wants to rev and with cams ca's will make power through 9 easyily

  • @silviatricks no shit... lol well then i take back my previous comment lol.. i built and sr and had to do all of that so i know exactly what ur saying.. i just HEARD they were shitty and my buddy hates his ca and wants an sr

  • @silviatricks aaactually, the ka24de trumps. displacement wins out with a big stroke, larger bore, and plenty of low-end torque.

  • @silviatricks

iron block means jack. infact its pointless and has downsides to Al blocks.

IRON BLOCK- heavy as hell, absorbs engine heat, strong electrical/magnetic conductor(affects spark), rusts on bare areas

    [ Fe < Al ]

aluminum BLock: lightweight, easy to work with/machine, Dissipates heat very well, strong enough for any amount of power, clean, corrosion resistant, used for on high performance engines ex: ferrari, lamborghini, porsche, gtr, ect.. almost all super cars and sports cars.

  • @jps13party GTR uses a cast iron block....

Infact this is a RB26 with two cylinders chopped and the Cadet wieghs less than an SR and can take more power.

The SR probably a better design it definatly makes power easier and parts are slightly cheaper and more readily available plus I think it looks cooler too.

  • @sidewayznut2009

are u serious? ca18's are rod knocked tuned engines from the factory lol

  • @jps13party are you serious? I didn't hear any rod knock here

Look it up moron its A FUCKEN RB it can take whatever a RB can take HP wise and multiply it by .66 since its 33% smaller a.k.a. 2 pistons less this is often called the 4cyl RB further more they got the guts from the RB26 not the RB20

Personally I think they are too small for a s13 I'd love to have one in a Miata, AE86 or a classic Dautsan 2000 or something smaller.

But look it up they are lighter than a SR too.

  • @sidewayznut2009

hey buddy watch yur language. dont call people u dont know morons. i build RB's. i have a 400hp rb20. i drift at the proam level and will most likely obtain a FD license this coming season or next.

btw, only noobs posers or drift wannabes have the phrase "sideWAYZ" in it

  • @jps13party hahaha really??? And you didn't know the cadet is a short RB????

You mean you rebuilt a RB one time right? I've been rebuilding engines since I was 15 a trained monkey can do it. and your just full of hot air. I SERIOUSLY doubt any real drifter will look up a video called "fully built ca18det" just to trash talk the car.

Infact the RB20 is the cheapest engine to buy and cheap and easy to install too

  • @sidewayznut2009

my first drift car was a 350hp KA24det and in the field, the kat spooled turbos better and had the torque to initiate drifts at low speeds/boost much better than sr's. basically ur saying ka's the weakest but in the real world, it is extremely effective in performance when turbocharged. u seem to know your facts and love talkin about whos faster off the line.. as if thats the most important thing in the world.

cadet? i didnt know becuz i said i never built one? u retarded?

  • @jps13party well thats nice but about all the KA can ever put out and not last very long without sleeving exactly why I wouldn't bother with one they cylinders are weak its over all a much much weaker built enigne than the SR or cadet

If you built a KA then whey did you goto a RB20 are you retarted?? You can't buy intakes without it costing so much that it was cheaper to go rb25 with cheaper tranny

Unless of course the fact is ITS NOT BUILT you put a bigger turbo maybe THATS NOT BUILT

  • Comment removed

  • @jps13party

again why would you just critisise an engine you obviously didn't know anything about you said you didn't know it was basically an RB?? then how did you know so much to criticize it??

so your just full of shit obviously why should I believe you

  • @jps13party

Actually my 240sx swaps aren't that impressive yet but so but I"m just getting started

s14 rb25 (customer) my first swap

    s13 sr20 sold it

s13 vert current car just pulled the enigne today going just another red top

s13 1uzfe in progress (customer) Which I'm just jelous I didn't think of that the engine is supremely light even lighter than an SR and has fully forged internals ready for boost and 6 bolt main

well I've only been into 240sx for 2 years after the rb swap

  • I usto drift Mustangs old cop cars etc before I knew there was a sport called drifting and actually I only street drift because as far as I know there hasn't been a drift event and there isn't a drift track within 150 miles of me or more. So while I didn't know there was drifting until 3 or so years ago I've been drifting for a good 5 years I guess about the time I got my license. I've always been a fan of FR and I never drove a civic like you moron.

  • @jps13party

Actually I'm a bigger fan of the SR but unlike you I know my facts

    ca18det 271lbs

    sr20det 330lbs

    ka24de 371lbs

    Its all posted on NIco

The SR puts out power at lower RPMS so it should be faster off the line even if both the cadet and the sr have the same power. Thats why I'm an SR fan

Strongest of those three engines unsleeved is the ca18det and the weakest is the ka24de

    Look it up douche bag

  • @sidewayznut2009

i dont know what your ranting about bro...

im confused... what the hell are we talking about here? what did/are we disagreeing on? who said anything about hating SR's? besides i really couldnt care less about factory tuned engines... who gives a fuck about who's "faster" off the line on stock turbo/motor anyways? i drive built engines tuned with larger turbos that lack idle power unlike your favorite stock motors.

u are stating facts and blabbering as if someones arguing.

  • @jps13party read the comments dumb ass it doesn't make sense when you jump around and read small phrases of one then another but try to FOCUS let me spell it out.

    Fuck

    Off

    Cuz

    Ur

    Stupid

I've been rebuilding engines since I was 15 I've been building up enignes since I was 18 who said anything about stock I said unsleeved do you know what sleeves are???

  • @sidewayznut2009

no i dont know what sleeves are...

ur a boss eh? know sooo much more than everyone when u dont know who the fuck your talkin to.

go write a book or something and leave the engine performance bs to people that actually matter and put it to use.

    goodnight sir

  • @jps13party

The fact is I wouldn't touch the KA or the RB20 because I did a little research and they cost more to get power from then it cost to get a more effective power plant. And they are both overwieght for their potential RB20 has 25 weight and cost alot more to built to ultimatly make LESS power. I could see the KA because work with what you got.

and again why would you look up a video for a fully built car only to criticize it????

That smells like a noob bitch

  • @sidewayznut2009

and im proud of you son. u learn everythin from nicoclub. my 5yr old cousin can read too. i couldnt care less about data on paper like you because obviously your a poser that thinks ur da shit cuz u know some basic facts on factory motors.

  • @jps13party

No sir I research before I make decisions I actually checked into engines wieghts because I thought about doing a BMW M52b28 which only wieghs an amazing 250lbs HALF an RB however decided not to because cams alone are $2,000 ECU is expensive ect.

I'm only swapping out a red top now because I have a blown one laying around in the shop and I can get a block for $500 and my KA just started knocking and actually blew a head gasket a couple days later.

  • @sidewayznut2009

okay time out for a sec..

what do u do? own a shop? and what exactly do u do with your builds?

  • @jps13party

Well I build on the side and I don't own it I'm a mechanic/fabricator mostly work on diesels but I do get some space to put my stuff and work on it in off hours and weekends. I do builds for customers to the side but my work is just regular mechanic work.

  • @sidewayznut2009

i figure u dont have a racing background of any sort?

so what is the purpose of u building these specific engines? some customers just requested it one day?

do u actually know how to tune engines according to turbo/sizing and all necessary info provided? or just mechanical engine assembly?

  • @jps13party

u gave me absolutely no credit when i mentioned i am a pro am level drifter stepping close to FD so im guessing you are unfamiliar with it?

  • @sidewayznut2009

i will apologize for criticizing a motor that wasnt urs anyway... i just witnessed bad experiences at important events with 2 rodknocks on separate engines on hacked rb's that costed the competition. i am runnin on zero sleep for a long time and cannot talk anymore shit.

i also have bad experiences with mechanics who thinks they rule the scene that have no experience behind the wheel, or true passion in the sport. only wrench this and that measure this that, data on paper.

  • @jps13party hahaha well I gotta goto work

I just get pissed off with people who criticize other people's stuff without knowledge of it. And there are lots of posers on youtube.

I'm not saying you are or aren't talking about me but I have a passion for the sport. I street drift because I don't have the money to travel 200 miles to a real track just to drift because I'm in bumfuck Arkansas a state without a single circuit track and because I'm in such a place pay is shit 10/hr

  • @sidewayznut2009

thats what its about, i spent 3g's on an important event from seattle to socal.

steet driftings a nono. it gives rise to drifting becoming a ricer street race type of scene. i despise it and so do almost all pros because it can cause accidents and sets bad examples to noobs entering the scene.

  • @jps13party

Well street drifting is also how it got started and I do it in areas where it won't cause accidents. Unfortunatly mechanics who don't own shops don't make alot around here so maybe once I goto a better area. But that also takes money. So sorry if I'm not a spoiled rich boy that had his parents set him up.

I'll take it to the track when I can for now I'm hitting up empty one way mountain roads and empty parking lots. and just open streets in general.

  • @jps13party

Infact I don't just have passion in addition to knowing how to now build engines I'm also learning to weld professionally and soon to learn pipe. (schools also taking my cash) And actually will make more money as a certified welder at $12/hr with over time that will goto 20/hr within a year and get to practice bending, fiting and welding pipe all day long.

Plus the guy that will give me a job races professionally and will teach me alot about proper chassis setup.

  • @silviatricks mm but how about a sr20vet eh? haha got you there with sr vs ca

  • @240sxRule sr20vet is fwd and the cost of putting a head on a rwd sr20 or making it rwd its doesnt seem hardly worth the cost even tho its a better design head nissan fail again

  • @somerandomaussie it doesnt cost that much bra

  • @240sxRule meh i would rather spend my money on a build ca...i get a better engine that a sr20ve swap cheaper

  • @somerandomaussie how i it a better engine than a sr20vet - rwd ?

  • @240sxRule for starters trying to find a sr20vet found only in a jap only xtrail mite not be so easy to find then making a custom bellhousing to fit a rwd tranny i mean all that money and effort i could just buy a s13 with a ca18 in it and spend the money on mods...the ca18 is a great engine standard its lighter...has a iron block which is stronger than the sr20s alloy block....has a better valvetrain system which loves to rev and throw in a 2 litre stroker produce just as much torque as a sr

  • @silviatricks thats what i keep telling people ca was basically perfect but they replaced it with a crappier sr20 :( ca>sr

  • @silviatricks Ever noticed how some CA's tick after a while? Those hydraulic lifters may be more direct, but they wear out. As for the block being stronger; Some sleeved SR20's make 700+ HP daily. Like the CA, they also have a girdle (only better) which makes failure of the bottom end virtually impossible. Also, with the CA, you have an alloy cylinder head on a cast iron block - this increases the likelihood of head gasket failures. CA18 is a great engine though - don't get me wrong.

  • @240sxkyle

Fuck both CA and SR RB all the way!

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ Nissan is the shit. haha

  • @hotsaucenchick3n

    Yea, i just dont like their CA's and SR's. If i had a 240sx i wouldn't drive it until i swapped a RB25DET or RB26DET into it.

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ too big great for drag racing though

  • @Mooseboy240

how is the RB too big?... Sooo many people do that swap for drifting. The RB holds up alot better than a CA....

  • @OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ it's displacement is the only thing it has on the ca the ca is light and when a car weighs less it can accellerate better decelerate better and corner better so unless your looking for 700+hp the rb is a waste of space. Basically just because the gtr uses an rb does mean it has the worlds biggest dick. You want to build a super fast large motor go vh45de its a nissan aluminium block designed by cosworth racing go pull one at your local junk yard for 300 and build it.

  • @Mooseboy240 ca is light? its made out of cast iron bro, sr is a lot lighter

  • @okel91 cool story bro but why don't you look up the weights

  • @240sxkyle dude your so stupid. KA's are better than SR's. SR's are for little rich faggots who dont want to build a KA themselves.

  • @xStealthxSniperx i was talking about a CA not a KA u fucking ricer.. know your motors before u talk shit..

  • @240sxkyle i dont know shit about CA's. dont really care either. your a fag and im not.

  • @xStealthxSniperx do you have a brain or what? your saying a KA is better then an SR? LMFAO!!!! then why is it all you yankies drop the KA out because its a peace of shit and drop an SR20DET in? i dont think anyone who knew anything about an engine would ever say a KA is better then an SR20DET black top.

  • @thelostlegend3000 Really? The reason morons do sr swaps is because they have no idea what the KA is capable of. Iron block>aluminum block. Lets do some math here. the sr20deT has roughly 205 hp STOCK. the ka24de has 155hp STOCK. throw a turbo on the KA and have more power and more reliability. seems to me that people are just in love with the sr because u dont have to do anything but drop it in! i would love to find dyno sheets of my buddies old ka-t compared to an sr! SR guys ear ur heart out!

  • @thelostlegend3000 I would have said the KA is better.. its basically impossible to break and the SR20DET is crap... the VET however is better than a KA.. and a CA is better than both :D

  • @xStealthxSniperx To be fair if we're talkin power potential yeah I'd say ka is better cause it has decently larger displacement but you have to build it so in a way it is a rich kids motor but if a kid is willing to do the work maybe he deserves it. The sr is just the easy way. I get what you mean but buying forged for the ka is really expensive not saying it wouldn't be worth it just don't have the bills

  • best way to destroy an engine

  • @archucky that's not just another engine, it's the bulletproof ca18det which is much stronger than sr20.

  • um ur revving it to high slow it down to much gas check me out in my car clubs account search: street runnaz car club im the only s13 in there learn sumthin

  • ehh brah, your out of control. try second gear next time lool.

  • clean pignose

  • Nice car. Sounds like a healty CA to me! 5 star for another Nico CA.

  • this video should be called "Turbo, Fully ruined Ca18det"

  • All that happened was the wastegate dump tube was not on and had a tiny oil leak from my turbo line everything is fixed and fine now .

  • @silviatricks ok take car of your nice car!

  • Thank you bro will do

  • i love how the turbo kisses thats a nice car

  • Haha, I figured that's what it was

  • and all they could yell was YOOO!! XD dude what about FIRE!? lolled!

yoyoyoyo its on fire kill it, fire kill it XD

yea! nice Ca18det is good enough i got one and'm flying =) what did burn? your brakes or something in your engine?

  • buy a fucking rb25 if you wanna sit on the limiter and go no where lol ,,, sick of you dickhead's spend all your money building fuckin CA's and then can't evan skid it lol ,,, like my mate had a ca in his 1200 datsun spent a million on it ,, lol now he has a 2jz in it ................

  • Rb's are for rich fags like you pal . who want to say ohhh I have a skyline engine in my car when it actually throw;s the weight distribution off. And my CA will bounce limiter all day at 8,500 through 4;th gear.

  • looks like a stock rb25 would smoke yo hahahahaha did you click the link and see the real built CA a

  • ca18det are the best nissan in the 16 valve virsion

  • Nice car man, CA powered ftw!

  • i saw that coming...hahahahaha

  • sounds like high rpm.. you gatta fix somthing on your suspension.

  • Comment removed

  • @datezy ur the dum ass. he has to fix it or it will destory his engine. moron.

  • What was the cause of the fire?

  • Comment removed

  • Arent fires a bitch!

Hope it was a simple fix

  • S13s are awesome

  • I am loving that blow off valve

and change name of vid to "car into flames" or sometin like that ull get like 1million views.

  • change the name of this vid to 'car bursts into flames' and it might get more views

  • That blow off valve sounds so shit.

  • i hope that's back fire and not a misfire

  • sounded like boost issues

  • please help my I need to find a engine harnes for a ca18det engine my engine come with out it that harnes conect to the injectors, coils, maf, coolant sensor you now.etc

  • henrrylok: you in the uk or us mate?

  • lol , yoyoyoyo its on fire kill it kill it. guy gets a sledge hammer....lol funny scenerio

  • Ha CAs broke 3 of em...

You no when someones got a CA in a car when he pulls away and there is a pool of oil underneath. got to love the rev tho

  • damn son thats no good

  • single cam right or dual

  • Dual

  • Nissan has pretty simple engine codes

    CA=engine family

    18=displacement (1.8)

    D=dual overhead cam

    E=electronic fuel injection

    T=turbocharged

  • How much HP do you have on the wheels ?

  • 300 at the rear wheels.

  • nice :D

  • loll

    what caught up?

  • The oil line for the turbo feed had a slight leak nd the wastegate was shootin directly on the leak ;)

  • haha had that happen before man, only on a dyno.
