@jwm239 i made it once but did not record it hahah i didnt know what happened . i closed my eyes after my release .... . the next thing i saw is a messenger going after the 10... btw i just tried taking it by using a plastic ball and going really straight at the 1-5 .. my friend thinks it was the 5 that got tripped or something
@kgsv3449 The pinsetters there are the Brunswick GSX's. One of their unique features is the ability to spot whatever pins you choose, so it makes it possible to shoot at fun stuff like this ^_^
I agree that the pins were set up. Also there is no way you can put the ball between the 4-5 or 5-6 without knocking one or both down. Has anyone ever gone between the 2-7 for lefties or 3-10 for righties without knocking either down? I've done it a couple of times and have seen it done a few other times.
The 5-4 or 5-6 split is quite common. I've picked it up dozens of times ( probably not picked it up about as many ) and the way you do it is to throw the ball directly between them. The sides of the ball will kick both of them out. Bottom line is, there is not enough room for the ball to go between them so in my never to be humble opinion, this is a set up shot.
@TylerMC17 I was at a children's bowling birthday party and saw a boy - not 6 years old - with bumpers and a 6 pound ball leave the 7-8-9-10. The ball obviously did not make it to the pit and was swept. I laughed, saying I've never seen it before in my life. Then he PICKED IT UP! The ball hit the 9-10, 9 into the 8 into the 7. I went over to him and gave him 5 and told him how amazing that was. I hope he remembers that - I sure will.
I see there is a Backrow 7-8-9-10 conversion post on Youtube - that's exactly it only it was for REAL and wasn't set up and it was slow rolling 6 pound ball. The top of the 9 pin went into the 8 and they toppled from the top down, not through from the bottom.
cool but a very easy spare to make indeed, just because its looks like o_0 doesnt mean it is, just shoot it like your picking up a 5-7 and you will make it every time. basically what im saying is if u can make the 5-7 or 5-10 then you will make this shot every time, tell ya what if u pick up a 5-7-10 then i will be impressed
The shot was set up purposely. It's an impossible leave, unless you're a three-year old bowling with a six-pound ball and bumpers. The width (diameter) of the ball is exactly equal to the space between the 4, 5, and 6 pins, so there's no way for the ball to fit through without hitting at least one of them.
@matrixphijr actually ur wrong on the exactly spaced the same as the ball, if the width was equal then it would graze the pins but not knock them over, i believe there is i want to say half an inch on each side if u go right down the center
hate to be an idiot,, but its actually not that hard to make. all you gotta do is act like the setup is 5-6 and put it right between them. the pins will do all the other work.
@InconCvAble and i agree, you can shoot this in 2 ways, you can pretend that the 4-5 is there, put the ball right between to convert the 7 and then its just like shooting a 5-10 in which the pin will also take out the 6 pin also.
easy. I work at a bowling alley we set up crazy shit all the time and bet each other to make it. I even made the 4-6-7-10 once in a money match. Cursed at a nun that night too it was great!
It's difficult to convert this I manage once and thought it is easy but it is difficult and to leave this it must be 2 ball shots (I once manage to leave 2-3-4-6-7-8-9-10 with 2 balls)
I got it how to leave it you take a 7 lbs ball and hit 1-2 pins with a curve then 1 pin take out the 3 pin and 2 pin gets right threw 4-5 pin and hits 8-9 pins (or the 3 pin takes out the 9 pin) and from the curve the ball do not manage to hit the 4 pin and get's to gutter, but even in this case you need a very good precision, now did anybody understood?( I would start painting to understand how it happens)
for anyone who says this is possible to leave without setting this shot up, your all lying and you know it. There is absolutely without a doubt not a single possible way to leave this spare. You just simply cannot knock out the front three pins and the 8 and 9 and still have the 4 5 & 6 pins standing. It just not possible and everyone knows it, stop with all the bulls*** about how you've left this spare before cause you definitely have not.
Its not. Its just extremely rare to leave. I have a nasty curve and was using a freaking 9 pound ball. i barely hit the one and did pretty much what Monferno123 said would happen.
You are most likely 14 and a virgin. But I dont really care, you do what you do. Ur average is probably also 156 or somewhere around there and put 213 to try to intimidate me correct? You sir, are implementing a fallacy. You are trying to intimidate me rather than adhering to the matter at hand. Go away, I dont like stupid people... (in other words, you)
I haven't left or seen this left honestly, but I have gotten to the point that I don't doubt any leave. Just last night we were all leaving splits and weird ones. Some guy on the next lane over left a 1-2-3-8-9! I didn't see the shot, only the leave so I have no friggin' clue how he did it. Just because you've never seen it and can't figure it out, doesn't mean it's impossible. I've left leaves that *I*, as the person who *threw* the ball, have no clue how they got left!
You're a liar...I hate to call you out but this is a SET-UP trick shot. It is an impossible leave for anyone. Believe me I've heard of practicing by leaving weird splits but seriously you picked this one. Ya right...
wow how do u leave that? did u like hit the 4 or 6 and have the 5 like fall forward between the 2-3 knocking down the 1? lol that is a really unusual leave
i was bolwing in the party room messing around and i hit between the 4 and the 7 and the pins fell in a circle kind of and one rolled out and hit the 1 right back through the 2-3. it was pretty funny and i took a picture
The weird leave i have ever seen is the 8-9-10 and it was a girl she let me shoot it and picked it up kinda fun to try and pick those up but the machince was probly there to put it
Either the mechanic set it up or they have a computer input (such as the aforementioned Sunset Stallion) where the bowler can choose the setup. I wish we had this in Orlando.

How do you even get these pins?? do you first throw the ball at like 2mph to knock down only the first 2 rows?
