its not only that there are also some parts of the game you get ganged up on and it becomes impossible to escape if you cannot predict where the enemies are comeing from.

I just bought Dracula X Chroncles on the PSP and I love it plus Syphony of the night is in it to I think its the best game I've played in ages since most of todays games are crap to me (I'm just not that hyped with alot of new games).

I never played SOTN or any Castlevania game after Dracula X yet (I'm finally planning to get my first post-16 bit era console). But you're right. Some games/franchises aren't meant to be in 3D & this is one of them. As much praise as OoT for the N64 gets, I played it on emulation & it didn't feel like a Zelda game & I don't want to play it again since it's too puzzle oriented & saturated with side quests.

I'd love for Castlevania games on non-portables to revert to 2D.

What they should do is make a game like Castlevania II and get rid of all its flaws, like that day/night transition text box, improve the mansions by making them more like Castlevanias I & III, improving the bosses, and improving the hearts acquired for defeating enemies so that you don't have to go back & forth just collecting them. I liked Simon's Quest, but it could have been so much better---like Zelda 2 but with currency (the hearts).

I love the music in this game. It's really catchy and gets stuck in my head. I especially love the music in the third level.

The music is composed by Kinuyo Yamashita (a.k.a. "Kinuyo Ueda" and "James Banana"), who is an excellent composer. She also composed the music for Telefang, an excellent and VERY underrated game that also has awesome and catchy music!

I don't think she composed the music for any other Castlevania game, unfortunately... :(

There were no Castlevania games for the gamboy color. There were 3 for the regular gameboy and and 3 for the gameboy advance. You are thinking of one of the gameboy advance titles. The names of those are CV Circle Of The Moon, CV Harmony Of Dissonance, and CV Aria Of Sorrow. Look up all three and you will find the one you are looking for.
