i worked maintenance in those blocks, all the majority of ghetto'ees ever wanted there was their centerlink money, their drugs supplied, and a easy hoe to bone, I offered a few jobs but non of them took it.

VERY disturbing corner of society.

I feel for the family's who are really disadvantaged and are being deprived of government help because of some who are too lazy to be a active part of the society.

The truth is nothing will change until this area is totally redeveloped, with a total change of residents. I've seen it happen in Cairns. The Aboriginals get houses and they demolish them quick smart and the place goes right back to being what it was before ie: a dump. Nothing good will happen in Redfern for a few generations yet, till the young kids grow up with different attitudes.

The past generation need to get over the "injustice" issue and stop blaming others for their current position.
