i watched this all the time when i was little. then one day in class the teacher said we had to pick between this and some other movie. we she said buttercream gang i screamed "omg i love that movie! lets watch it!' everybody laughed at me. but we ended up watching it anyways...ha all the kids were in tears before the movie was over. i so showed them a good movie!:)

i watched this movie has little girl and i always thought why didn't Pete tell Scott the really reason why he had changed and what caused him to come back to Elkridge and what really had pete so shaken up that he had to try to be a big hole jerk towards his friends, his gradnpa, Mr. Grafe, Scotts parents and everybody else in the small town of Elkridge. I loved how scott never give up on Pete and trying to get him to open up about what had happen back in Chicago.

lol I love the reviews they show said by a "parent"....it just makes it sound so bad, I mean, granted its a good family movie don't get me wrong I saw it and it was a good dramatic film. But it sounds wierd that they would say "parent" instead of using the person's name to make it sound legit.
