@annewilken We help our brothers and sisters in the ways we can :D even if they don't feel like we are brothers or sisters <:) Someone in need is still someone in need whether they believe what we believe or not its different if they dont want help tho :(

@annewilken I have not converted yet but, the mormons have been there for me. I have a disability and for a while my care aides were flaky so lds people helped with meals. I think with getting money help people are asked to help in the office for a day or to pull weeds so its not just a hand out. thats how the bishop at the place i went to did it anyway.

Quick question: do missionaries get physical incentives, or do they have to meet baptism quotas for converting people? Just curious, because I'm currently meeting with missionaries, and I don't want them talking to me if they're not sincere or getting something physical out of it, like a trip to London, or something.

@p3rdyp1nkr0ses There are no incentives, except the joy in sharing the message. Missionaries actually pay their own way, out of their own pocket. Keep learning from them, it is a message worth the time.

@walkietalkie0425 Thank you so much! It went well! We had to actually bump it up to February 26. Since then, I've gotten my limited use recommend and my patriarchal blessing, along with a call to be ward missionary! I can't wait until a year from now, when I am able to go on a mission!

@p3rdyp1nkr0ses of course not.. they have no number they need to meet. there only concern is to teach people the gospel. they dont even get to choose where they go. they get a letter that says where and they go. actually they have to pay for the trip themselves. its no where near free.
