I listened to his Teaching Company lectures "The Life and Writings of C.S. Lewis" twice over, then went back to a few individual lectures and listened to them while taking notes. They've helped me immensely when it comes to apologetics.
Dr. Markos is, as this lecture shows, an outstanding teacher. I "took" his course, "Literature, Plato to Postmodernism" from The Teaching Company and have watched it twice and will likely view it again since it is such a joy to experience.
If only I (we?) could have been taught English (and beyond?) by Dr. Markos. Thank you Dr. Markos. Oh. I have seen him in person. He is even better in person if that is possible.
I just completed Mere Christianity last week for the C.S. Lewis Tutorial I am taking this semester at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. It is worth reading, albeit unconvincing.
