I've been certified for about two months now, and as a turkey I still get an enormous rush even though I only pull off some simple flips, track rolls and shit like that. After my last jump for this season I realized how much it amazes me that humanity has bent the laws of nature and found a way to pay a visit to heaven in our own bodies.

It's nothing like staring out the window of an airliner. If you're interested, by all means - do a tandem. You won't regret it!

I have a print of a beautiful, almost surreal painting by Kelly Green hanging on my living room wall entitled, "Alice Dreams of Skydive Arizona." I was staring at it one day and it occurred to me that the two freeflyers in the painting in the red and white jump suits looked an awfully lot like Yoko and Axel; so I emailed Kelly and she confirmed what I had suspected... it is Yoko and Axel!
