I suspected than image at right (5d) is shooted by a vari or ND filter. Can you watch it please and give your opinion? I wondered why in this video, the image of Gh2 is so washed out!

Mark I went back to look at some of your Canon 7D footage I think the hacked GH2 360p looks better then the Canon 7D 720p video you uploaded.

If you don't mind me asking: What lens did you use and what aperture and shutter speed settings? Also, can you say something about the light conditions? Was is low light? I'm currently using the kit 14-42mm lens and have to push the ISO to at least 800 on f/3.5, s1/50 :( Thinking about getting an 1.8 lens and wonder if it'll make a huge difference under low light conditions. I'd love to keep the ISO @160 to get the cleanest result.

I have a gh2 but I'm sort of new to video and I'm a little confused about what the hacking is doing. Higher mb's mean you're hacking the camera so it can record a high resolution image in movie mode? and also get better quality in low lighting? sorry for the stupid questions I'm stil learning here but this is some beautiful video you post and it's just inspiring me even more thx allot. Take a look at what i've shot so far. My dream is to learn how to make my videos high quality like yours

Mark how big was the file you uploaded to YouTube? This video you uploaded blows away any Canon footage that was encode to 360p.

@mp4podcastDOTcom Thanks. It was around 330MB. 30mb mpeg 2 The native file from the GH2 was over 1GB for 2 minutes of footage.

@jshaw6600 Yeah, I'm going to do another series of them for the GH2 once all the settings are stable. Otherwise it will be outdated in a month.

Ok thanks. Yeah, I'm going to wait until it's a little more stable before I attempt any hacks mainly because I don't have the money to replace my GH2 if I accidentally brick it.
