  • Am i the only fucking one in the universe who realizes that none of these videos on YT explains why we have gravity on earth, they only explain why the earth orbits the sun? WTF scientists, either explain the earth gravity or STFU

  • I Love The Video It Can Increase My Knowledge Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory

  • Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory

  • I Really Like The Video From Your Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing In this brilliantly articulated and refreshingly clear book, Greene relates the scientific story and the human struggle behind twentieth-century physics' search for a theory of everything.

  • light from sun is entangled with observed light.on earth, thus if sun vanishes its effects are measured instantly on earth

  • I actu

  • I no expert but... With all these extra dimensions of space and none of these scientist entertained the possiblity of an extra dimension of time?

  • @cancerman50 is that cause you wanna suck em all off

  • @HalfEatenDimSim Where the heck did you see inuendo in a physics question?. This whole series focused on extra dimensions of space and reveal a possible theory of everything to explain all matter and every force in one theory. I wondered why nobody ever thought maybe they are extra dimensions of time.

  • Elegent Universe : an article has been realesed claiming Enistein was actually wrong !

  • @kadmany No. First of all, there's no reason to beleave that the documentary. Second, there's hunders of tests claiming theory of relativity is right.

  • The Elegant Universe began from negative 4D Minkowski continuum The formula of this negative space is T=- 273,16 = 0K The negative 4D is a flat Infinite Pseudo Euclidian space The 4D is Vacuum, Nothingness , Emptiness But the Emptiness isn’t emptiness In this Empty space virtual particles exist From these virtual particles stars were created These stars (3D) exist in infinite space All billions and billions Galaxies exist in this infinite Pseudo Euclidian space
  • damn i hate dis man !

  • America never landed a man on the moon, that's a big lie.

  • @TributeToTesla you are funny

  • got chicken?

  • How does this 'fabric' theory explain an eliptical orbit?

  • @MrNotbornyesterday1 As you approach the object you are orbiting you gain speed, as you move past it you slowly begin to move speed, once you get are enough away you begin to turn around, and come back accelerating towards the body you are orbiting.

That's like Grade 11 Physics man

  • Isnt this taken from bestofseince?

  • Its funny because i totally agree with einsteins theory , its just that when the planet is moved away , time will slow down ALOT because we dont have a primary source of an object like the sun in our volental area . But what i do know is that when we are shifted out into space without the sun, we will all die in some time by no heat. this is coming from a 16 year old

  • lol,3:34 earth doesn't travel faster than light. this animation isn't close to simulation.

And the black scientist was way too conservative to think being wrong means being completely off.

  • We live in an Electric Universe, not a gravitational universe.

When are we going to realize that Einstein was wrong about gravity. Black Holes, gravity waves, dark matter, dark energy and all this other conjured up stuff do not exist. We need to stop wasting money searching for new particles and forces invented by mathematicians. A good measure of a theory is its ability to predict the outcome of new observations or explain them without introducing additional tailor-made concepts.

  • @vlatin1 Eh, do you have vids about this? I had a friend tell me the same thing, but didn't go into any sort of detail about it.

  • @vantarinitel I added a few videos to my favorites list. You can also do a search on Wallace Thornhill and go to the holoscience web site, to get more information.

  • E-mc2 is dead...here's the new GIJ,J=0

  • man einstein was a fucking genius. just to think about something no one else even considered.

  • I don't get this... it's not the rays who has the gravity pull but the sun itself.. no?

  • you can see by his hair where he really gets crazy

  • Therefore, Newton was correct. Einstein was wrong for this very reason; again, gravity is not a "speed", but a force. And, as gravity is not something which travels at any "speed", there is no speed with an assigned value to compare to light speed. As there are not two speeds of assigned value to consider, then there can be no comparison. Because of this, there is no speed stated which has exceeded light speed. The ultimate "apples and oranges" consideration by Einstein.

  • @DoctorLawyerWhatever

DO you have a phd in physics? No. Didn't think so. Gravity is neither, semantic juggling aside, a force or a speed, but a physical relationship of a mass with a contingent electromagnetic 4+dimensional field....Newton's mechanistic conception of gravity is dead, live with it..."abruptly cease to follow the curve of their orbits", not exactly. I would explain but a lengthy explication exceeds the character limit. Your argument is petty at best; pseudo-intellectual at worst.

  • Respond to this video...

    *within a 4+dimensional field

  • But the attraction of gravity is not a "speed"; it is a force. If the sun were abruptly gone, the planets would as equally abruptly cease to follow the curve of their orbits, as Newton stated, because the attraction which caused the planets to follow their orbits is no longer present. It would simply take approximately eight minutes (the time required for the sun's light to reach the earth) for us to be made aware the sun's absence.

  • @DoctorLawyerWhatever speed mean .. beginning to result in time.. result is other field and beginning is other field also so and so ...The force is mutually present because force mean activity

  • this guys lisp is pissing me off..

  • Gravity is "G THEORY" and Law of Attraction at its best!

  • @LeconsdAnalyse

but how can this be as I learned that the sun is moving with 100km/s through space? Earth must follow in a kind of spiral movement and so travel faster than the sun! Must be in a kind of tractor beam, maybe tracked by the force of a black hole in the sun, to speak with Nassim Haramein.

  • @dd7aa..Because the gravitational field of the more massive body (the sun) `bends` the geodesic followed by the slowly moving earth (a material object). If the conditions are met, and they obviously are, the earth will orbit around the sun. To "roll inward" would require the earth moving very rapidly along a geodesic (trajectory) that ultimately intersects the sun`s mean position, and making contact (i.e. impact).

  • Free energy technology exists! But the Oil companies want these technologies unknown to the masses,Go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and get the blueprints for a genuine magnet motor ,Free yourself!

  • what's name that book Einstein sign?

  • Did not understand shit

  • I love how everyone comes on youtube and become physicist with there outlandish concepts. As a student of logic, philosophy and physics I find it rather amusing the amount of people with there textbook answers or comments all of sudden they possess a doctrine in physics. If half the people on here knew what they were talking about then we would have time-travel by now..,

  • @chrispydogs I also love people like yourself whom make comments about other people making there contribution to this subject. You mention you study Physics , Philosophy, Logic and your a poet and artist , yet you make no comment on this post. You of all people should know Einstein also came up against the same reaction from fellow scientist when he made his equations. Your answer is to list of all about yourself and what you do -- how conceited and arrogant.

  • @cupomash2 Haha. I fail to see your point here. If you have read some of the things people write in here then you would know what I am talking about. I also never made mention of Einstein as being one of these people since he did usher in a great shift in paradigm of our understanding. Furthermore I would like to add that although I do study the field myself it is not conceit or arrogance that I have but just disgust how people can make uneducated comments on things they know nothing about!

  • @cupomash2 I know your probably going to have some half witted rebuttal here but save yourself the time and embarrassment because I'm not into petty childish arguments of whether or not you believe I am arrogant or conceded. In the end I don't care what you or any Youtube geniuses have to say and If Einstein is the only person you can think of that was looked down upon because of their work then I suggest you yourself pick up a text book and educate yourself a little more my friend...

  • @chrispydogs Your unbelievable you really are. You take the time out to write two paragraphs - still no comment on the original post - to tell me to pick up a text book? One wonders in awe at what anyone would use other than texts books to learn? - perhaps you just gaze up at the stars and drink from your cup of conceited self-importance. If you don't care about others commenting then why are you replying?. You don't care what others say! Call yourself a artist ,poet etc etc pull the other one.

  • @cupomash2 Well I can honestly say that you my friend are an idiot not only because you failed to calculate the simple fact they only allow a certain amount of letters in a comment to post but the fact that you believe that information comes from only text books but most of our understanding comes from philosophy. Sad really. Like I said before I do not want to have an extended argument with someone who is obviously uneducated or someone that is ignorant as well...

  • @chrispydogs As I said another paragraph of drivel and still no comment about the original post. As for text books whom do you think wrote papers on Philosophy - we learn of great philosophers and there works through texts they actually wrote you ignoramus. To call me uneducated only proves how conceited and self important you think you are. Any by the way don't extend your sadness for me, I haven't requested you to do so, keep it for your own shallow views. Now take your crayons and colour.

  • @cupomash2 well I think I am done having childish arguments with you over me being conceited and your total ignorance and misunderstanding of things here. I suggest you open your eyes and mind and when you have a little more self pride then maybe people will care to speak with you instead of having school yard arguments... Good luck with your shallow life

  • @chrispydogs ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ yawn ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZyawn goodnight mister shallow.

  • For every action there is an opposite equal reaction.

  • Hey, Amigo91, should u have your own video here ? reading abt this stuff is boring. much better is to watch the video without all the technicalities.

  • hey thats Brian Greene, i know him from school

  • thats the only reason why you are floating. The gravity or pull of earth still exists your only escaping it because of the speed. If gravity dissapeared for example the iss or any other sattelite including the moon will launch into space and never return. So wed better be lucky gravity does exist. graity is like a whirlpool. THe bigger the whirpool the stronger. The closer to the center of the whirlpool the bigger the effect. and a whirlpool is caused by graity. It is water we can see effect on

  • it gets even worse. Astronauts that are launched into space gotta endure 3 to 4 gs maximum to reach space. Weightlessness is because an object (a capsule or shuttle) has the same velocity around gravity (earth = gravity) as your own body. So both forces are similar causing weightlessness. Not because you really are. Because your falling, but just as fast as the capsule your occupying and the capsule escapes gravity as your own body. So in cosmic physics your as fast as the shuttle.

  • which means in the case of the international space station you have to travel at 7,5 to 8kilometres every second to escape from that 8m per second acceleration of earth. Also called angular velocity speed. The result of that speed across the horizon keeps you from floating around the earth without thrust or artificial acceleration. The reason your weightlessness in space is not because your reached space vaccuum.

  • a second in a minute since 60 (second) times 8 = 480.

Yet when we drop out of a airplane to sydive we never surpass 340kph. Simply because at that speed the air force or airpressure forces us to never surpass that speed as long as that speed is dependant on its own gravity. And that gravity is earths that accelerated you at 8ms. To stay at a altitude above earth for indepandant period you have to accelerate against the gravity.

  • gravity cant be explained like a bird that flies. It is a force of the universe, because the universe is everything and also matter which defines everything in our sense So matter is the universe in human perspective. If i let a apple loose in space at 2000miles above earth it will fall down. Simply because gravity has a accelaration speed. In earth case any object unless the other objects is huge in mass will accelerate to earth at 8meter per second. Which means it would travel at 480meters

  • The universe isnt flat. If it was, astronauts could easily navigate upon senses which they cant on first sight. Im a diver myself and even under a near weightlessness experience underwater it completely disorientates me let alone being really weightlessness which is in my case only a illusion. In my case im being used to it. THe first time underwater however i can still remember and was life threatening it similar actions occured in space.

  • A byproduct or pre product of gravity doesnt exist and has never been proved to exist not even in the motion of the stars. Apart from dark matter which is more like multiverses in my fantasy just like we proved there are hundred billions of galaxys in the 1900. Because the universe is also specified as a whole from the big bang. Something below the universe doesnt even make sense. Let alone that even we can specificy a "below" universe to gain magnetic gravitational creators

  • There is no secondary form of gravity. The amount of gravity is defined by its mass. We weight it in mass. The more the mass the bigger the gravity. Or...... the more particles (or atoms) together the higher the gravity in perspective. You would weight 2.4times more on jupiter then on earth. Yet jupiter is a few hundred times bigger then earth and should therefore have a gravity of a few hundred times that of earth. This is not the case because its matter is less dense cause it is mostly gas.

  • 0:48 and how in the world did you find out about this secret, huh?

  • @Zargogo Because he couldn't explain it himself when asked

  • and im not trying to disprove anything with my previous comment im just confused and im sure there is a simple answer, i just dont have it

  • theres one thing i dont understand. could someone explain to me why we think the universe is flat and below it there is something creating gravity? because it compares the fabricky stuff to a trampoline, but a trampoline requires gravity to be pulled down. without gravity you would simply sit on the surface. where does this second form of gravity come in and why doesnt it have an affect on our tides and such. anybody have an answer for a high school freshman?

  • If there is a blanket of time under the earth and the sun....! then there should be a different properties...under the Earth...ifself. I mean the exact point where the earth South pole is in contact with the blanket of time/ space/ other. Since on earth the south pole is having the same properties as in the North pole..! Newton's idea has no similarities..with the realistic view.

  • What I'm curious about is..that pit depression in the fabric, wouldn't it be a pit all around the planet in all directions and not just in one direction on the bottom?

  • @JoeyMars1 i hear ya. whats "down", whats the frame of reff? 1 persons down is another persons up!!

  • Michio Kaku writes: Solving Maxwell's equations gives two wave solutions - "retarded" ie standard motion of light from one point to another and "advanced" ie light going backwards in Time.

Since Maxwell's equations are among the pillars of the modern age, any solution must be taken very seriously.

Richard Feynman found that the backward-in-time solution represented the motion of antimatter.

From this idea Feynman created Quantum ElectroDynamics for which he won the Nobel Prize in 1965.

  • Michio Kaku writes: Maxwell began with Faraday's discovery that electric fields could turn into magnetic fields and vice versa and set out to express these through differential equations. He found that if these fields were constantly turning into each other a wave would be created which he calculated to be the speed of light and "had he lived longer, he might have discoved that his equations allowed for the distortions of space-time that would lead directly to Einstein's Relativity Theory."

  • proof that even Einstein sometimes talked bollocks.

  • On Einstein's visit to Cambridge University in the 1920's he was told "Mr. Einstein, you have done many great things but you have stood on the shoulders of Isaac Newton.". Einstein replied "No Sir. I have stood on the shoulders of James Clerk Maxwell."

Maxwell had postulated that light is a form of electromagnetic radiation exerting pressure and carrying momentum. This provided the basis for Einstein's work on relativity. Maxwell was the first to use field equations - as did Einstien.

  • To say Sir Isaac Newton was wrong about the Law of Gravity is a pathetic fallacy! All Albert Einstein did with Newtons law was update it. All the String theory will prove is that there is a spiritual dimension intertwined with and in direct control of and the brooding force of all physical aspects of existing matter. Anyone with half a brain can come to terms with that!

  • Warped by heavy objects? what about objects that arnt so heavy? or even an atom? Does the "fabric" have weight? Is there anything that will not warp this Fabric? If I drop a single atom into the fabric will space time curve around it? How much mass does it have to be before it warps time and space? does the rotation of the earth effect the warping? does warped space/time create more drag on mass as it spins? does the warped area spin with its host? WTF?

  • @fudgedogbannana there would be no dropping of an atom, as opposite the metophor, because mass does not enter or exit because its existence is constant and only changes form. Also of course, there would be no removal of mass to warp the space time dimensions either.

I'm thinking that, with this, there would only be warped area because of moving objects, not disappearing, or someone

  • @fudgedogbannana dropping an atom onto it; then, the warping caused by this movement would be constant, as the interaction of the waves, no matter how complex, would constantly interact in the same fashion, being only controlled by the other's movements. And this causes the eb

  • @fudgedogbannana and flow of the dimensional universe, and life, and that;s a whole nother topic of philosophy....

all in all, The warping of space and time would be at a constant natural pattern, to answer your questions, i guess

Maybe I've just said a bunch of rubbish.....

  • Zionism is an eternal mar, a grotesque, lurid, macabre morass and monstrosity of foreign policy.

  • Zionism is feces incarnate.

  • Yet they say nothing of Arthur Eddington.

  • Your all confused because thsi si a tiny piece of a larger video. It was a 3 part NOVA on string theory. I got the whole thing on DVD.

  • I think I kind of understand that but before watching some videos I wasn't so confused.

  • anything with mass has a gravitational pull a orange or apple have there own gravity matter with mass bends space like a bowl and other thing are pulled to it i think

  • Oh my God! I just became more confused why the Earth doesn't fly away!

  • @robert0joe gravity need time to reachs earth, so when the sun is gone, ther is still some gravity of it left

  • ...... Shut up, Meg.

  • How is morality embarrassing?

    Grow up.

  • when did virginity become moral? get laid

  • Like I said, Grow up.

  • 4d, =D

  • gravity is not the first force to be understood scientifically!!! gravity is nor understood jet! it is only described and predicted, but nobody has jet understood its nature!

  • And to boot! If you subscribe to certain concepts in philosophy, all we have managed to prove is that, 'things dropped will fall', SO FAR....

An unknown factor may be causing that pattern, and we may not of seen that unknown factor under all circumstances yet.

Like how a person who only sees half of an apple might assume the apple is red all over. But on the other side if might be a big grub hole for all they know.

So we can not be certain that what we see as gravity, will continue or not.

  • That's not to say I'm going to jump off a building to test the concept. The pattern has been pretty conclusive so far. >.>

  • 2 great minds Einstein and Newton....

  • u forgot Stephen Hawking

  • This is the top 5 for me: 1- Davinci 2- Newton 3- Einstein 4- Galileo 5- Nikola Tesla

  • but what about the master of the universe?

  • The Master of the universe?? what r u talking about?

  • about stepehn hawking!!! THE MASTER OF THE UNISVERSE!!

  • The Master of the Universe is God.....

  • AND Stephen Hawking

  • Why Do You Think Stephen Hawking are the master of the universe?

  • He IS the master of the univesre cuz he knows all the answers about it!

  • I don't think so do you know why? cause stephen hawking he try to do the unification of the mecanic quantum and the general relativity and never he did..so if you think he is the master of the universe why he don't did the unification between the mecanic quantum and the general relativity???

  • well that's your opinion, but the world knows that he is the smartest man.

  • his knowledge is like a little spoon of water from the whole ocean of knowledge

  • and your's like a 1/1000000 of that spoon :P

  • yes but yours too haha ;-)

  • Okay, first off, I'm pretty sure he's joking. And how can your grammar and spelling be that bad.

  • I think he is talking about greatest scientists, not the most popular.

Hawking should not be anywhere on that list.

  • WHy do u think stephen is not one of the Greatest?

  • Eureeka!

    Einhorn is Finkel!

    Finkel is Einhorn!!!!

  • @Gabebro1 Einhorn is a man!! Oh my God. Einhorn is a... *puking sound*. Love that movie.

  • his accent is so annoying!!

  • hello all. iv read about the warpage of spacetime and how the earth is following the warped path made by the sun and so and so on but what i want to know is how come the earth doesnt roll inwards and collide with the sun?

  • Anti-gravity?

  • The reason is the lateral velocity of the earth. It is falling but it is falling arould the sun. If you shoot a cannon the cannon ball will fall back to earth, however it will go farther than it should due to the fact that the earth is round because the ground curves away, if you could shoot the cannon ball fast enough it will fall completely around the earth, this is how orbits work.

  • If the sun was the only gravitational body in the solar system, that would be true, but the earth has it own gravity, hence the moon, and all of us not floating away. So its earth's gravity, same as all planets, is strong enough to keep it where it is, but the sun's pull is strong enough to counter, thus you have a cosmic tug-o-war keeping things put. Consider also the gravity of the moon causing our tides, thats a strong pull, but the moon wont smack into us anytime soon.

  • @dd7aa A combination of the universe (specifically space everywhere) expanding, and the constant motion of cellestial bodies.

  • @dd7aa

The reason is mass. anything that has mass has gravity. so the sun is pulling on the earth, and the earth is also pulling on the sun. the reason we don't collide with the sun is angular momentum. the earth is orbiting the sun at a high speed. and the masses of both keep it in orbit. for example: take a yo-yo and let it unwind. then spin in a circle fast enough to keep the string straight. let the string be the effect of gravity. stop spinning and the yo-yo starts falling to you.

  • @dd7aa the same thing that keep suttles and sats in orbit around the earth, velocity. not enough and they come down, to much and they fly off into space

  • @dd7aa centrifugal force

  • @dd7aa Centripetal Force

  • @dd7aa inertia

  • @dd7aa Because the earth has forward momentum. The sun's gravity wants to pull the earth in...but the earths forward momentum stops that from happening. Like a roulette wheel ball...it won't fall down towards the numbers until it's forward momentum slows enough for gravity to pull it down

  • @dd7aa Well I think primarily because the earth didn't just happen to run into the suns orbit. There was dust rotating around the sun long ago and then bit by bit it created a planet within it's stable orbit. However it is possible to alter the orbit of a body in order to create changes (eg: orbiting satellites). But if Earth were to fall out of it's orbit we probably wouldn't be alive to witness it going towards the sun or anywhere else.

  • Its like shooting a bullet horizontally really fast and the bullet keeps on going round the earth because as it's falling gravity is changing direction and the loop never stops.

  • @dd7aa Centrifugal force - Because we are orbiting the sun at exactly the right speed and distance. Gravity pulls us towards the sun with the same force that the centrifugal force pulls us away from it.

  • @dd7aa Its speed. It's "rolling" so fast in the curved path, that the centrifugal force keeps it from "falling" inwards

  • @dd7aa Your argument would have the same situation as the moon. The moon and Earth follow elliptical paths thanks to the body the orbit's motion. This means that the moons orbit is more extreme than the Earth's. When the bodies reach their apogee, they will swing back around accelerated by gravity to the other side of the apogee. This happens never quite endlessly, and the balance is never perfect. The moon moves a few cm away from the Earth every year because of this.

  • @dd7aa basically its like swinging a ball on a string round a pole (swingball). If u keep spinning it fast enough the ball doesnt fall to the centre of the pole until it slows down. The Earth is just moving at the correct speed to resist enough of the Suns gravity while still being kept into orbit.

  • so hes saying that EVENTUALLY the earth will be sucked into the sun? its all a matter of time, we just happen to be at the point in the earths relation to the sun to be a thriving planet, until slowly we will get too close, but by then i feel if the human race made it that far, we could somehow prepare for the blistering heat that would commence...

how did einstein find out that gravity was the exact same speed as light? i find that unplausable, since gravity comes from the energy in mass

  • The sun will not pull us in. In its stellar evolutionary track, the sun will grow large enough to consume the planets out to mars, but thats the sun swallowing us, not us drifting into the sun.

  • Gravity is interacting through a shadow dimension. We can feel its effects where energy coalesses and it creates ripples and eddies in spacetime.

If you were standing in a gravitational dimension looking at our universe, the interaction would be like seeing spikes on a flat sheet of matter. Black holes would be looping infinite spikes and large stars like domes, planets small grains on the surface of our universe. And within this realm infinite twisted evolving universes.

    That's what I reckon.

  • if we can push against gravity and gavity moves at the speed of light shouldnt we be able to push against light

  • just because they move at the same speed doesn't mean they behave the same way.

  • i don't understand the theory of gravity connecting it to time and space. nothing yet. does anybody have an analogy that can help me understand it.

  • This video is one of the better ones I think. I imagine the warped space being all around the object, not just on a 2d paper or sheet, but above and below too.

It's tough for me too. I need more help :P

  • that's some heavy stuff....

  • What about string theory? The Sun is so massive, it could be a giant wormhole to go to other side of the universe

  • But, compared to other stars in the universe, the sun is only an average size.

  • We're 99.99999999% sure that the sun is a bunch of regular matter, mainly hydrogen and helium, glowing white hot from nuclear fire. It's pretty straightforward. Also extremely fascinating. There have been robotic probes sent there. Inside the sun and other stars, new elements are being forged from mainly hydrogen and helium. Our planets, comets, asteroids, and even us, are made up of these "heavier" elements. Truth is most fascinating :)

  • I should add that my education consists of a 1992 high school diploma. Forgive the laymans description!

From what I know about string theory( which includes exactly 0 equations) It wouldn't mean the sun is anything but what it is now known to be.

I do not understand string theory, but in a nutshell it deals with distances so short that they are not even detectable yet. It's dealing with things that are vastly smaller than quarks.
