Yes you should do root. A short cut is to type su and then copy it. If you do su then you can type in the command to copy it.

Do you have 64 bit ubuntu or 32 bit. It's very easy. The 64 bit is a couple of commands. I can help you. He does give you some info on the more info button.

i have a amd64 athlon and i do wath i say and works, and i hace a ubuntu8.10 64bits, and works. but i remove because the audio not function and now i have 32 bit , bad bad bad but theres works good, the desktop cube not work with my computer

i fixed it, i was able to copy the file in the directory and it still doesnt work but its only because i have ubuntu 8.04, not 8.10

64bit is geared throws pc with more ram but also more cpu cores too. And mainly for ppl that multitask or have alot of apps open. Since it can use ur machine hardware to make it fast and not lag.

only you have to do is, SYstem>administrator>synaptic package> in searh spell this, nsplugin, and mark, nspluginwrapper and flashplugins-nonfree

and you caan see youtube and other flash things
