@Disgracefool yeah, i managed to defeat her, thought it could be worth a try to shoot the healing "pods" and yay!!!! it worked! i am on my second time using "cherokee mode" this time :)
they should definitly make a movie out of prey...i mean the storyline is like the best i've seen in fps games in years. i'll cry if someone else doesn't take notice of this and starts filming it soon
Err watch out for what you wish for....... We don't need another 'DOOM movie' which was absolutely devoid of nearly everything doom with 'monsters' caused by some genetic mambo jumbo and a hellknight (theres a reason why its called a HELLknight) wielding a chainsaw.
yeah...doom was shitty...but a movie out of prey (done tastefully of course...can't really think of a director)...man...it would be a dream come true...with the begining dialogues and the bar fight...and not to mention enisi's death...fuck...the whole game is a movie...loved every minute of it :D
Tastefully as in? this game has lots of gore (which I like) but yeah. Prey does have a semblance of a storyline(like why they are harvesting and their little 'planet' they move around unlike doom's just blast every monster that spawns anyway type of gameplay.
Well,i said tastefully as in remember the scene in Doom where the guy was filmed from first person, when he was holding a gun like in the game...now that's just wrong...they were trying to relate to the Doom series but apart from the marine stranded on Mars it had no common point whatsoever with Doom 3 or any Doom for that matter.
not just the view but the whole idea. Anyway moving on, prey owns Doom from every aspect except weapons (i was hoping for something more futuristic in prey and i get an alien-weapon hybrid...like what happened...did the mother alien have sex with human weapons or what) but all in all prey kicks ass
Prey could be an awsome movie in the right hands...can't really think who. But if it would really come to filming the damn thing someone from the development team of the game would have to be on the set 24/7 to make sure that another "Doom" doesn't come out...but hey now let's be realistic...there has to be an announcement for a movie before we can have discussions like these :P

Well, Prey's weapons have biological parts to them.... thats pretty futuristic though not flashy.....

actually, no. Voss didn't leave behind his dark matter gun. the dark matter gun is found at the level after Operation: Last Hope.
