I discovered rainbow whenever Joe Lynn Turner was a guess VJ on MTV back in the day.They never officially broke up. There tour ended in Japan which was captured live for a video release which turned out to be their last show. Roger and Ritchie joined the reformed Deep Purple.

This was my favorite video of all-time. It is inspired by The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a classic film.  I never saw the full length version with the part where she gets locked in the closet.
