  • all my life is here

  • I discovered rainbow whenever Joe Lynn Turner was a guess VJ on MTV back in the day. They never officially broke up. There tour ended in Japan which was captured live for a video release which turned out to be their last show. Roger and Ritchie joined the reformed Deep Purple.

  • Love this video!

  • Wow, I wasn't expecting to see Alexander Siddig here a decade before he went on to play Dr. Bashir on Deep Space Nine!

  • 1st time i've actually heard this tune or any RAINBOW.impressive.he seen many references to this band in the same sentence with rjd and axel rudi pell.

  • Official porno music video for "Street of Dreams" performed by Rainbow

  • ritchine blackmore had cool hair lol. god i remember the 80s, must not been enough drugs

  • First time I heard this song was when a great bar band from St.Louis covered it. One of those great, timeless songs. Great, no, absolutely great vocals.

  • One of my Favs! Used to listen to this song over and over!

  • Love it :)

  • Great, great album. Very tight!!

  • Love it except Turner's gayish eyebrows

  • I want this played at my funeral.

  • Rainbow just showing why they are/were one of the greatest bands in Rock history. This video makes my heart pound. i see women flash through my mind that i seen in my sleep. ---bzzzmeiter---

  • is that hugh lorrie at the beginning cool this song rules

  • @shredmaster100 , no, it's Alexander Siddig (best known as Dr. Bashir from Star Trek DS-9).

  • ah ok hes as cool as famous as hugh lorrie anyway but they do look a lot a like and hard to tell them apart with their british accents lol

  • i sure do miss the 80's music...

  • i had on yhtis song on a old tape of my brother

  • this was a fantastic song and LP. I loved all versions of rainbow especially JLT period. This song however, could have been done by someone like Foreigner and sounded the same. Rainbow lost their way a little...

  • One of my favorite songs from Rainbow! Wow! Do I miss the 70's and 80's bands! Journey, Rainbow, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen; take your pick! Love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @KeithJKohns1, those bands songs were more uplifting than modern rock, weren't they?

  • Fantastic song and video, by an amazing group.

  • increible rola , pero stargazer es unica por ser cantada por dio , dio ,transformo a raimbow eran muy buenos .al irse ,raimbow casi se destruyo,,,,,,

  • The 80's were wild in case you missed them ...... I choose to reside there even to this day.

Ahh Yes The 80's Gave Us A Lot Musically .America was different and our country was respected. Our President Was A Tough Guy Who Brought The USSR To Ruins Without Firing A Shot. There were jobs...And money was easy to make and it truly was the best of times. Remember To Vote Out The Socialist In The White House In 2012 And Maybe The Best Of Times Will Return.

  • @TULLYNOL Couldn't we just enjoy the music without the political commentary. Does everything have to be political? You seem to forget that 8 years of GWB brought us to this point.

  • the plot seems to have a few holes. .. .

  • SUPER

  • Este tema es fantastico una joya, que agradable haberla encontrado

  • one of the bast rain bow songs ever i m lost on the street of dreams for ever

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE I was in the Navy in 1981 when MTV first launched, I remember being on my ship trippin on acid in 1984 watchin MTV on board. What a time, then in the early 90's when grunge hit, my wife passed away in 1995 at 34 year old and I remember driving her to cemo treatments listening to Alice In Chains and the first time I saw Man In The Box on MTV, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins. Then after my wife died I took a ten year trip on drugs. But like you say I thought M.

  • Hey, they had pretty great hair.

  • @MegaDaggger You have to admit , Richie Blackmore was a great one at both the guitar & picking talented lead singers

  • jump to 1:41

  • He's rolling into the water, I hope he can swim^^

  • That Psychologist was kind of wimpy.

  • listen too that voice......i saw this tour in new york....Joe was just amazing livr...BUT Ritchie stole the show....as always

  • My God! How did anyone sing like that back then without Autotune? *snark*

  • for those 8 of u who disliked, u must b bent out of shape

  • Amazing song!

  • my fav rainbow song..we don't hear songs like this any more...

  • Cool tune! I heard the tail end of it on WDHA this morning and had to hear the whole song.

  • MY FAVORITE SONG :D

  • God damn Joe is so yummy ;)

  • dropped a lot of acid to this song. great memories-i think

  • @1234roadking1 Me Too!! Right On!!

  • At 4:45 the car almost lost it's roof, although a dam nice car.

  • Oh yes, oh those memories, good times good times.

  • I love the psychiatrist with the Dracula voice!

  • Thanks for sharing this great video. Great song!!!!

  • Girlfriend? I'd put a ring on that.

  • i have not heard this song for more them 22 years it is so cool

  • awesome......

  • TheDarkangelkelly, it was called Night Tracks and I think it was on TBS. I would stay up and watch the videos till I couldn't prop my eyelids open anymore! The greatest music EVER!

  • @MsNailem

Yes, it was on TBS and I would do the exact same thing! Remember waking up a 3am often after falling asleep in front of the TV many times.

  • great song love this time

  • Great Video, ti actually had a lot of "MEAT" to it.

  • i certainly miss these guys

  • i love this song but i didnt remember the video that woman is beautiful.sorry ritchie blackmore and joe lynn but just sayin wow

  • Does anyone know if the girlfriend in the video is the same girl who is on guitar from another video Robert Palmer's Addicted to love? It's those light blue eyes makes me wonder if its the same girl in both. I can't find any information on either video of the players in them.

  • long live Friday Night Videos! before MTV all us babysitters had to be hip and cool was Friday Night Videos and I apologize I do not remember if NBC, ABC or CBS was cool enough to play these videos....

  • it's so funny to think of now...don't get it twisted...it's a great song..but the way MTV intro'd this video in the 80s...they hyped it soooo much...it's comical to think of then..but I do remembering me and some of my friends being intrigued..lol..if that's the right word.

  • I agree that is the worst attemp of the great Ritchie Blackmore to get be fanous ...

    It's Roger's fault

  • Just like some women. First the Kiss, then the Kick!

  • Great song, bad video, I guess in the 80`s it worked

  • Yeah!!! Somehow I was stupid to believe that MTV and 80's music would never change and woud stay great. I took all those years for granted. Great memories now in some many ways for me. And for it takes me back to my HS days and I had parents also. So listening to this, and other great bands during those days, I can see and feel my parents again. FOR that I Cheerish videos like this and many MORE. LONG LIVE REAL ROCK N ROLL

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE man u hit right on the head! very well said !

  • @THOMAS81Z Thank you

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE shut the fuck up,this aint rock n roll, this is supermarket music from england hate british crap mr electric eye(priest pole smoker)

  • @petescape2010 anything with ritchie blackmore in is rock n roll prick

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE I just cancelled MTV, all stupid shows, where are the videos Joe Lynn Turner should`ve been a bigger star . Better voice than Justin Bieber

  • @levelheaded42 I'm sorry , I was with you until your last sentence. What the hell does Justin Beiber have to to with anything? Those two never even performed in the same decade for christ sakes! So effin sick of reading comments likr that. Who the fuck cares? NO ONE!!!

  • @beegeesgirl3 I don`t remember what I said, but I remember mentioning Bieber as a joke, so I know I wasn`t serious

  • @levelheaded42 Then I suppose I should apologize...I just get so sick of great bands being compared to the suckiness of some kid pop tart who will hold a candle to them,. It's a waste of space and quite franlky, hurts my eyes. ;)

  • theres plenty of good bands just have to look

  • Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) had a much better voice - and John Elefante (kansas now solo)

    . Talk about range...

  • "I, I keep having these dreams. I'm in the year 2011 & the rock music, the mainstream music just sucks ass, doc."

  • @muzzmatrix

LOL! YOu sure got that right! Keep rocken!

  • This song makes me thinking of riding down a beach on a white horse in a romantic novel, my hairs way longer too. IDK maybe thats just me.

  • What a great tune and video from the days when MTV played..... music!?!

  • Joe Lynn Turner... Great voice!

  • I was lucky to see Rainbow on June 12. 1982 at the New Haven Colliseum in New Haven, CT. I was 17 and I'll never forget that concert. It was great.

  • Lucky you! I'll always regret I didn't have the chance!... ;{

  • @shawnsgirl56 Lucky you! I'll always regret I didn't have the chance!... ;{

  • does anyone recognize al siddig aka dr bashier from deep space nine

  • Legend song.Thanks.

  • I was playing this song as I was driving home. I got into a big car accident and rolled/flipped over several times. This song was still playing as I sat upside down and saw the dark blue sky. I knew I was still alive.

This is such a beautiful song, yet it still haunts me. I love this song very much!

  • ugh. all music used to be great. now new music sucks. literally EVERY old video on youtube has hundreds of these inane comments.

  • La calle de los sueños; sueños dulces, sueños rotos.

  • 2:52 rocky ahhahaahahhaah

  • One of the best videos from back then. Definately one of the best voices from the 70s and 80s.

    :)

  • One of the best videos from back then. Definately one of the best voices from the 70s and 80s.

  • @wafishguide Joe came into Rainbow in the 80s. Graham Bonnett, Dio and Ian Gillan sang with them previously. I am pretty sure about that. I liked them with Graham Bonnett...very powerful concerts.

  • rainbows weakest vocalist was doogie white he was a good singer but no where near the old standard of joe graham or dio

  • I've always wanted to beat the shit out of a hypnotist !

  • Ritchie Blackmoore kicks ass

  • Comment removed

  • one of the first videos I saw on Friday Night Videos babysitting... way before MTV....

  • this is the most touching song that I have heard. love the ending with the guy pushing the man out of the way and going to the door that the man had her in. makes me cry with joy to see that happen. from a make belive story to a real world. Great video really great. :)

  • Rain bow lovers come by i have 2 rare solos of Blackmore hear n enjoy ,,,best band ever

  • That's not Alexander Siddig playing Mark, is it?

  • *****

  • lol... turner took off his eyebrows to this video

  • Skinny ties! Oh, yeah! They're coming back!

  • I remember when MTV used to hype new videos coming out...and now that I see this after better than 20 years...I remember...MTV had a whole big thing about this vid.

  • This is a another kind of Rainbow, comp... sorry I cant write in english. Det här ett helt annat Rainbow jämfört med när Dio sjöng. Joe Lynn Turner har helt klart en bra sångröst, men som sagt var finns inget, inget som kan slå Dio. Jag tycker att Rainbow med Dio var Bäst!

  • Blackers is the Master ,Joe LynnTurner ,awesome singer,Best Band,Best song ever.

  • Hipnosis is shit! there´s no need for such pseudosciencie when listening to Rainbow! hehe.

  • Rainbow was SUCH a talented band...my god!!!!! They were SOO overlooked...espically in the Dio,Powell days.

  • @TonyMJr717 unfornutately they could not keep the same lineup for 2 striaght albums, they broke up at their peak when ritche rejoined deep purple

  • kick ass thanks for posting it

  • I have similar dreams where the wife pushes me under water then holds my head-what can it mean

  • Rainbow what can we say...

  • I love playing this song on guitar, when i do!

  • Great vid nice series 3 Jag as well

  • Us teen girls don't have ANY hot singers like this, nor this kind of great music.

  • @RosesReality Sorry Roses. That really sucks. I admit it, those of us born early enough to remember this being "new" hit the musical jackpot somehow. And yeah, the guys were reeally HOT back in the day.

  • What do you mean "Us teen girls don't have ANY hot singers like this" Does Justin Beiber have acne or something? Were the Jonas Brothers the Breakout Kings or something? Are you suggesting these singers need Botox and plastic surgery or something like that.

  • @RosesReality - so true - everyone is auto-tuned. There are alot of old farts out there - un-autotuned.

  • @RosesReality then you should try listening to my band '':D

  • @RosesReality Iron Maidens?

  • @RosesReality

I'm just glad that you recognize that fact...KUDOS!

  • Yes you have hot singers. You have people like Justin Beiber and The Jonas Brothers. Are the Backstreet Boy's still hot? Cause they were popular 10 years ago.

  • Ah, this is my old favorite! Awesome song and excellent video! Thank you for sharing this with a high quality. :)

  • 3.38 Poor Joe had to draw in his eyebrows. Luv ya, your one of the best!!

  • My absolute favorite band!!! The truly wonderful days of music.

  • that majerly kicked some butt !! whos with me?

  • This could be the greatest AOR track ever recorded. A song that IS NOT on most classic rock stations' playlists. This is from the heyday a time period that won't ever be duplicated.

  • This was my favorite video of all-time. It is inspired by The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a classic film. I never saw the full length version with the part where she gets locked in the closet. This video was played on MTV and then was later banned. That is why for years I thought I'd never see it again. I so love the internet. The woman is Lysette Anthony. Very beautiful woman for a very beautiful song.

  • This Video was actually BANNED from MTV. I was wondering why? Oh wait MTV has ALWAYS hated rock music.

  • Awesome song Great Quality sound and capture.... LOVE this band sorry they couldn't hang longer..

  • hey joe, jennifer beals called - she wants her sweatshirt back

  • love this .

  • how did the doc get knocked out? by colliding with some air molecules?

  • Didn't realize Rainbow sang this song! Hadn't heard it in years!

  • Joe Lynn Turner looks like a freak with his shaven eyebrowns. Like a serial killer or something. Scary.

  • I love how she immediately eats up his face right after he removes her gag there at the end. It's almost as if her mouth was gift wrapped for him. Nice.

  • i was 18 in 1983 and i always loved this song and" since youve been gone"

  • @leonetski So was I!! It took me a while to work it out!

  • such an epic video.....ONE OF THE GREATEST VIDEOS AND SONGS EVER!

  • joe lynn turner is one of the most underrated rock vocalists ever, too bad we didnt know back in the eighties how gay the cut up sweatshirt look was gonna be !

  • who are the men and the woman?

  • The video detracts from the song.

  • joe lynn turner = GOD

  • \m/ i still love seeing this one after all these years \m/

  • bloody brill..fond memories of this wonderful song. Back when life was easy and all about music not work and finances and child care etc etc etc ad nauseum!!

  • fantastic song......when dreams are better than reality, it makes them that much more important i guess, at least trying to figure out why you have to wake up when all you want/need is when you are asleep......i remember the first time i heard this song in the late 90s, i was like wow, a song that speaks about what i feel, why i feel sad when i have to wake up......

  • just love this song as the whole rainbow's album wher the song from... back to 1983...nostalgy

  • Lovely song emotion.

  • one of my favorite song from rainbow... richi on guitar john on bass and this great men on the mic are the best.whats the name of that men on the mic.????
