I am in love with this song. It contains so many different emotions, all transcending a simple sense of calmness, sadness, or even love. I'd think the lyrics refer to a fictional/metaphorical or literal divorce... Still, it reminds me of my boyfriend, and that's another reason it makes me so happy. (I don't usually write these things on Youtube videos; but I haven't loved a song so much in a while and I really felt more like writing this comment than studying or doing something more useful.)

Interesting to almost relate to this song and music but not quite there. Sort of drift in and out with it but unfulfilled. Really doesn't miss by much by Neil Young wrote 10 songs about birds that are better: expecting to fly; birds; helpless; little wings; danger bird. I hope I have not disparaged (and Ytube rules apply to advertising and design that keeps our individuality in a cage). So if you fly away without me, shadow on the things u know, feathers fall about you & show you the way 2 go.
