Nightwish didn't compete in Eurovision.... this is from the Finnish final in which they were trying to make it to Eurovision. At this contest, they came in second as the concert was rigged--the tele-voting showed that Nightwish had clearly won. So, Nightwish didn't go to Eurovision. If the contest here would have followed the votes of the public, then they would have...and perhaps they would have won. Who knows.

It's because they can't play really live, it takes too much time to put everything on stage for 1 song. So Eurovision says there are only a few things that have to be really live. The guitars aren't plugged in aswell. The keyboard is not plugged in also. The only thing live is singing. So I think they made it sound plastic so it wouldn't sound like the instrumental CD playing in the background.

That's my point of view on it.
