  • I grew butternuts one year. I had hundreds of them. No one knew what to do with them. They were hard to cut up. I had one asian friend that would take them all. I ended up burying fifty of them. Maybe, I will try again this year in a different place. I know now to use an electric knife to cut them. I wish you would have shown the finished product. Thanks

  • @sundogforlove Sorry you didn't see the finished product. It looks great when it is all toasty. I wish I had had some of your butternuts back then. You should have passed them around the neighborhood. Good way to build relationships with the neighbors. Good luck with the recipe!

  • Really awesome recipe =D I think I am going to try it XD

  • @NatashaBekkerMusic Thanks for your comment. It is a tasty treat, but healthy at the same time. I hope you enjoy it.

  • Cool recipe! I only got 2 this year in the garden ;)

  • @jihadacadien Thanks for your comment. I got some heirloom seeds this year and I hope that the squash love my compost I'm cooking up for them. I also have some delicatta, spegetti and candy roaster squash seeds too. I hope that I have squash vines growing everywhere.

  • @GoingOrganic1 oh the ones that grew in m compost bin became giants!
