  • I own it also. Very good camera

  • @redking100 It sue is. The updated versions are nice as well.

  • ok im sorry but your voice reminds me of McLovin

  • Why are you sorry? I'm not. Although I wouldn't mind his money.

  • For point and shoots I go Canon.

    For DSLR's I use Nikons.

  • Well said.

  • I own it, excellent camera

  • Agreed.

  • Very good review. What type of camera did you use to record this video? The quality is excellent

  • I used the Canon Powershot S3IS to record this.

  • THX i got this yesterday.. Finally . a GOOD CAM..

  • very informative and clear review, you have a great review and camera technique, keep it up!

  • Thanks, appreciate it.

  • nice review

  • sorry i meant can you zoom while taking videos

  • No, most compact digitals do not in video mode.

  • can you record while taking videos?

  • great video :) tomorrow i get my very own SD770 and i cant wait to discover it.

  • I think the 790 is slightly larger and heavier, but you can't go wrong with either.

  • Good stuff - I'll pass this along to all my newsletter subscribers.

  • Excellent.

  • Thank you so much. I just got this camera. Trying to switch from one main menu display to another main display sort of drives me nuts, I seem to go around and around with the functions, lol, but I think it's going to be a great little point-and-shoot.

  • I know what you mean. The buttons are so close together that it can be tough. Wearing gloves makes it nearly impossible to operate the functions. But it is an extremely small camera that has some impressive features and quality, for its size.

  • It works, but the image is tiny and there is some slight distortion. I don't use it as much as i thought I would.

  • 880 does not have an optical viewfinder, just the LCD.

  • why not go with the Canon 880?
