For the dummies: its 2 shots. one with the yoyo guy and the guy that walks behind. he froze frame on that yoyo guy and masked out the parts where the guy comes in. notice how the trees start to move when the guy walks in (you can even see a sharp mask line between frozen and running footage). the camera is static so you even need to track anything.

you actually used a high shutter speed! a lot of videos like this have motion blur on the time freeze (which makes no sense) but you did it right.

...actually....my compact camera doesnt have any controls for shutter speed nor aperture. So I was lucky it was filmed on sunny day so the camera itself automatically used higher shutter speed.

lol, no what he meant was most camera's blur fast movements, so that yoyo would look all blured, but yours has fast shutter speed anyway.

belive it or not, but this was shot with tiny compact camera Canon Ixus 60 (SD600 in US) on 640x480 30fps dpreview com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_­sd600 asp" It really has an amazing video quality.

Nope....it is really just a mask....no bluescreen....filmed on location...but the mask wasn't so tough as you, people, describe (I could mask only one frame...you can see that when I'm walking behind, the yoyoer is already freezed...thats the only masked frame)....the hardest part was to reckognize, where the hell is that damn string, because it was barely see against that background.
