You see, if I were Wendy, I would have stayed! And made an occasional visit home. I'm with Peter- growing up sucks and if I had the opportunity of staying a kid forever, you bet I'd do it! Especially if Peter came along with the deal. ;) But, Wendy could have at least tried to persuade Peter to come back with her, tell him that he has a choice about going to school and work. Because everyone does, in reality, and they also could have been together. He could have been Wendy's husband & a father!

@MariaxUrie He does- at the end of the movie (and the book) he seriously considers staying with Wendy and asks her mother what would become of him (the lines where he asks Wendy, he actually asks her mother). He returns to Neverland, but comes back about a year later and has Wendy come help with spring cleaning. She eventually grows up and he takes her daughter, then her granddaughter, and so on.
