This way the possum is still alive and you can stab it in the abdomen, and head.------------ love to hear the bones crack. As for the blood stains on the carpet, use listerine the one that looks like piss. it easily removes the blood stains on the carpet

@rfjinx I agree with you! I, too, do wildlife rehab, and opossums are my specialty. They're a lot easier to take care of than squirrels, raptors, corvids and WATERFOWL! I think this video was partially a hoax. I don't think that guy really got bit on the neck by a possum (unless he was messing with it!)

We had a possum problem, we first smoked them, cuz they started digging wholes worked for a while, then they came back, so we have a trap, we unexpectly caught one, first we tried to drown it, then, we got the BB gun, and kill it
Possums are our only North American Marsupials. That makes them a mammal, their fur is actually HAIR. They carry their young in pouches & they eat bad spiders, bugs & other pests that we would be overrun with were they not around. The only BAD possum is one that has been HURT by HUMANS who are too ignorant to know better.

We had a possum problem, we first smoked them, cuz they started digging wholes worked for a while, then they came back, so we have a trap, we unexpectly caught one, first we tried to drown it, then, we got the BB gun, and kill it

Possums are our only North American Marsupials. That makes them a mammal, their fur is actually HAIR. They carry their young in pouches & they eat bad spiders, bugs & other pests that we would be overrun with were they not around. The only BAD possum is one that has been HURT by HUMANS who are too ignorant to know better.

The news reporters are idiotic. Opossums aren't rodents. I wouldn't call them disgusting either as most opossums are more clean than the two living the trailer.
The couple is trailer trash. If they'd keep their home clean and maintained they wouldn't have this problem. Mower exhaust? PLEASE....not only would this not work but they gassed themselves in the process. These two do not have the brain cells to spare.

@justin76bmw Just for your info, opossum can't chew through any hard substance, especially wood. they are not rodents, they eat rodents.
It would be harder for an opossum to chew through a door than it would be for you, because of the fangs. AND they are notoriously lazy. You had rats!
