  • I was wondering about his voice but then 1:26 came along and shut me up

  • @lupica747 same here... End results= goosebumps on top of my goosebumps.

  • 1 person is an fuckwit

  • still the best one out there

  • I could see John looking down at this going "Think you got enough sparkles there Paul?"

  • es el mejor, despues de jhon claro

  • omg his voise man i wish he was like 28 r something cause when u get older the voise well get idk but his voice is really hard now when he was young really soft lol

  • its alsom happen even in the young person...

  • where can i download the whole concert in hq?

  • I saw him in Philly recently and When those fireworks came on it sent shivers up and down my spine multiple times! Paul McCartney is the greatest singer on the face of this earth. R.I.P Beatles :(

  • WOW, i wish i was there.

  • I think Paul still has an amazing voice. But it wouldnt hurt him to transpose a few songs... Billy Joel did it, and has never sounded better.

  • oh my ! What a performance!!! I saw him 2004 in helsinki, now i really badly want to see him again after seeing this!!!

  • oh my ! What a performance!!! I saw him 2004 in helsinki, now i really badly want to see him again after seeing this!!!

  • jesus christ he sounds so old oh well thats the way the cookie crumbles

  • Simply amzing...the man is 68 and still rocking on!

I saw him live 2 years ago, and he was amzing there as well.

    A living legend!

  • Just thought i'd say, I was at the festival and Paul's voice live was still incredible. The videos don't do him a lot of justice, but in all honesty he was truely awesome and i don't know of any artist or group (aside from the Beatles together) that could match what i saw that night. Thanks for an amazing show!

  • @AndyTyrrell91 Ye i agree with you. I saw him in Atlanta and Nashville and he sounded amazing at both places.

  • Interesting debate about Macca's voice. I suppose in this age of auto-tune, anything less than pitch-perfection is going to stand out.

  • simply amaziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing

  • guys, he didn't "lose" his voice. did you consider for a moment that he might had a cold that night ?

  • @VanMocen Hell yeah, Paul is still a great vocalist. He is human, too.

  • @VanMocen Ye you are right because i have seen him twice once in Atlanta and once in Nashville and he sounded like he had the same range that he had back with the beatles and that he was singing in the same key as then.

  • OMG i am the biggest beatles fan ever but paul sounds like shit.

  • @monacode no man! it's you who sounds shit! we're so lucky we still hear him play despite of his age you dumb ass!

  • @monacode HE'S 68 GIVE HIM A BREAK

  • @monacode

I KNOW - you're right . I love Beatles as much as anyone. But EVEN Paul McCartney can't compete with the Beatles - and certainately NOT with his amazing voice from 40 years ago. In the kindest way possible- I want to tell him to"hang it up" and just do some small acoustic sets. The legend is enough. I would still be speechless if I met him. I can't put into words what "Sgt pepper" does to my mind - I owe him and the other 3 SO MUCH.

  • @monacode He was having a bad night here. I have seen him twice and one of those concerts was after this one and he sounded much better than this. Just type in Paul Mccartney Nashville or Atlanta and you will see.

  • Ahhhhhh é hoje Brasil!!! E eu só vou ver pela tv... snif snif

  • MARAVILHOSOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

    PAUL AINDA UM GATOOOOOO

  • was there for the festival and he was BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!! born performer the atomosphere was electric

  • terrible. he really lost his voice in the last 5 years. but lets say thanks for how long god/nature let him keep his amazing pretty tone before.

    nevertheless its over now.

  • @Horbrus iam gonna flag you.

  • @Horbrus are you for real?! LOL!

  • @Horbrus ummm helter skelter is a beatles tune, neither of these songs are covers

  • @Horbrus you're so fucking stupid. i dont know if i laugh or cry...

  • @Horbrus ahahahah ho covered a motley crue song???? ahahahahah

    go study music history!!!

  • i wish King Mccartney concert in Jakarta ( indonesia )

  • please come to Jakarta ( indonesia ) King Mccartney

  • Up and Coming Tour!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • fuck yeah.... HELTER SKELTER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Horbrus Actually, Live and Let Die is a Paul McCartney song. Guns n' Roses version is the cover one.

  • Paul is still the best. So good looking and fantastic musicans with him, i love them all.

All the best Paul and Happy Birthday John !

  • He's coming to Brazil!!!!!!

  • COME TO CHILE PLEASE!

  • These are pretty much the best festival songs of all time ever.

  • Hey Who Doesnt Like this video??? Its awesome!

  • Great!!!!!!

  • I was front row all day that day. Best day of my life.

  • Comment removed

  • Hate to be one of those people, but it seems that Justin Bieber disliked this video.

  • I was there and it was actually incredible. I had a GCSE the next day but who cares! It was PAIL FRICKIN' MCCARTNEY

  • STILL GOT IT MACCA ROCKS hope the rumours are true come to Perth australia 2011 big day out :) im 22 macca ROCKS.

  • To DeCavalcante: Old? Crappy guitars? Hey asides from Paul's voice cracking in the beginning of this song, this is a fantastic performance! Rusty Anderson and Brian Ray are the guitarists (with Paul on Bass of course), Abe Laboriel Jr (Drums) and Paul "Wix" Wickens (keyboards/accordian etc...) fill out the band. Actually Wix has been with Paul since 1989. This band has been together roughly 9 years. Very professionally filmed video - Is a dvd release in the works?

  • its not the same paul without the beatles looks like hes playing with green day rejects

  • @TheBlackdog57 It's called having a solo career for a reason. He hired the best he could find for his back-up band. So what if he can't do it like he used to? He's still ridiculously damn good, especially considering that he's getting near his seventies. I'd rather see him than a bunch of other new artists.

  • its not the same paul without the beatles

  • This really sucks, I know he's old but how can you like this? Other than the fact it's a legend up on stage. He was good...and who are the crappy guitars? Go get Eric Clapton(someone who can still sing too)

  • Paul is a real gangster boy ;D

  • i saw his concert in the FRONT ROW! he was amazing!

  • @Shiver161 Me too he was amazing!

  • I still can't believe I was there.

  • wow playing bass for paul, what an honor!

  • 1 word - SENSATIONAL

  • Paul is the best alive musican in the world. his band is great, his songs are awesome, i love this wonderful hofner bass. thanks paul for bringing back beatles, wings, and your solo songs.

  • i wish john was there together with the beatles .

  • @sushikeito1992 And George.

  • @sushikeito1992 I just wish John was alive

  • @sushikeito1992 What about George?

  • @3much4u *coughRINGOcough*

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 *courgh Ringo is alive cough*

  • @3much4u So you want Paul, John and George, but not Ringo because he's alive? :S

  • what are the names of the guitar and bass player?

  • @JonTorreto rusty anderson-guitar, brian ray-base

  • How long does Paul usually play for? cause Im going to see him play soon

  • @jonjb4 3 hrs

  • words cannot describe what i felt like after this song

  • Paul live 2010, so fantastic. How is this man able to do it in his age? He looks better than 20 years ago, and his band is much better than the wings. Paul brings back all the good beatles and wings feelings, and some of his fantastic solo songs.

    PAUL IS THE GREATEST

  • Don't get me wrong, I love the Beatles, but Macca's well and truly past his best. If it wasn't for the band and effects the poor old sod would have got booed off the stage, same goes for all the rest of that era.... Let it be!!

  • @andysouth1 Nah man, respect the fact that Paul can do this at his age, I bet you're sat in your arm chair with a pipe and slippers when you're his age. RESPECT.

  • saw him in Cardiff in June. Awesome awesom gig

  • just saw him and the band in San Francisco -- brilliant!!

  • i was hereeee!!!!

  • when he came to puerto rico in the beggining of the explosions the first one was sooo loud that everyone got scared, even paul

  • even if he'd played for 4 hrs, it wouldn't have been enough! Top moment of my life!

  • saw him at hyde park yesterday bloody brilient he was........

  • Time to do shorters shows. I don't think singing for almost three hours helps.

  • @gaeira

if you're an ex beatle 3 hours are absolute minimum, i mean no other band has as many classics as the beatles, and then there still is his solo career.

  • @OropherThranduil

I see your point. But would you rather have three hours of classics performed by a man without a voice, or, say, a two hour gig performed by a man with a voice?

  • @gaeira

well, iwas at his two shows, and his voice was perfect at both gigs, he rocked the kölnarena two days in a row, i stood right before him, paul is the man, his voice still rocks, and if you would have been there hearing him roar trough helter skelter you wouldn't say what you just said.

  • @OropherThranduil

Could be. I havent seen Paul live, and this is one of the few live vids I have seen of him from 2010. And the Isle of Wight footage is the only one with good quality, and anyone can hear that it sounds horrible. Maybe he just had a day off. Lets hope so.

  • @gaeira having seen him on hamden park glasgow on the 20th june i can tell you macca has still got it : )

  • first time i've seen Paul really have to dig for it.......his band should have rallied more to cover....they were prob not used to it......who cares....... .

  • Jesus, the pyros are immense, that's one huge rig. Anyone who knows the LX rig, mssg me back!

  • he sounds really bad here but live it was amazinnnng! thank you so much for putting these videos up, I thought I had missed my chance to see them on itv player! you saved me! cheers!

  • the guitarist are defintely american they look so cheesy

  • Absaloutley awful

  • just back from hampden park macca rocks

  • Happy Birthday Paul....never retire!

  • retire macca and bow out gracefully b4 the voice gets worse ..live and let die was shockong !!! opening line especially !

  • @DoncasterLad1982 i am such a massive macca fan and i don't want to see him stop performing but i can't help but agree with you. I'm so gutted hearing his voice deteriorate as the years go on but it just sounds like it is shot to pieces from years of vocal abuse. He still hits some amazing notes but it's not the voice it once was!! It is especially noticeable at the start of this song. :o(

  • @macca2356 i thought loads of abuse was heading my way .good to see there are some sensible ppl on here , having said what i did ,i watched some other songs he did and he was spot on ,and ive leared he played a massive Dublin gig the night befor so thats why he was ropey in places

  • @DoncasterLad1982 ah, i was hoping there was a good reason for his worn vocal. Yeah i heard other performances on youtube too. Here Today sounded really good!! He is such a legend!! Macca rules!

  • @macca2356 he does rule for 69 years old ..long live the master !!

  • @macca2356 just seen a few video's of the dublin concert of live and let die from the night before this and he's as good as ever ..must have had an "off night" ..have a look at the RDS in dublin ..cracking performance of the same song ..i was wrong lol

  • @DoncasterLad1982 yeah i see what you mean, he must have ripped his voice to shreds at that gig. His X factor performance from last year wasn't too good either. He seems to be on bad form when things are televised. I just hope the young generation know how amazing he used to sound live back in the day!!

By the way, i love on the dublin footage of Live and let die how he thought it was the end of the song when he started playing the piano all rocky when it was infact the slow part. haha!

  • @macca2356

i was at his two gigs in cologne, and he belted those songs out like a youngster, his bass playing is still top notch unbeatable and yeah, he said he never plays songs in other keys for his voice like black sabbath and deep purple and so on do.

Paul is the Man when it comes to live gigs, imagine a beatles concert today, imagine hearing those harmonies again together, and i think his backing band is good, but still no harrison, and ringos moving head behind the drums is still missed.

  • Imagine a Beatle concert back in the 70s. now that would have been something special. The sound would have been far superior to what they had in the 60s and they would still be in their prime, vocally and physically. Shame it never happened!!

  • @macca2356

you should search for real love and free as a bird live, brilliantly cut together from live performances of all four of them.

  • Happy Birthday Paul, from the bottom of my heart!

    God bless you ever!!

    from Peru

    Rosa

  • @bescew Ye Your defiantly right about him soundind better than anyone around today

  • a+B

  • iz voice iz nt always gna b up to scratch every night with the guy bin touring since iz late teens all the way up to him bin 68, 67 iz it now he still rocked

  • Everyone has off days guys, he still rocks it you have to admit it.

  • he has his days where he can sound still as good as he did when he was with the beatles and his days where he sounds like he is losing his voice. I so him last year live at piedmont park atlanta and he sounded great and nothing like this. His voice is probably tired here and he is having one of his bad days.

  • @ugafootball247 he was in dublin i think the day before so that explains it

  • his voice has gone!!!

  • @karld83 he still sounds great to me and pretty much 99% of everyone else .. oh well cant please everyone

  • shirley bassey should've been there to demonstrate the proper singing of a bond theme. not this croaking. at the age of 72, dame shirley can still out sing everyone at the isle of wight. mccartney & band could've accompanied her instrumentally. then she could've sung "get this party started" along with pink. now THAT would've been a killer duet & worth the price of admission alone.

  • @flyingfishsurf yea shes a better singer but can she wright songs like eleanor rigby, yesterday or drive my car? i dont think so

  • What an amazing gig to top off a great weekend! I nearly cried when he did that song about Lennon heh

  • Bloody great!

    As always.

  • i was there, he was freakn AMAZING, could not believe my eyes and ears, you go PMac!!! and Pink was AMAzing also, awesome awesome weekend!!!

  • He wass the BOLLOCSS !!

i was there FRONT linee , i loved it and pink was great to.

i heard he was 67 ifsoo HE had a bloody great voice for hs fuking AGEE ! xx

  • he's still got it.

  • Omg I love him. Wow he really needs to come to Illinois please!

I'm 16 and I need him to come here. Who knows, he could just randomly announce that he's not touring anymore. I find it necessary to see a Beatle in the flesh before I die.<3

  • Why does he keep singin live and let die

    is it for royalties..

    Helta skelta was fab

mamybe best to leave the live and let die for a while asmaybe to much if voice abit tired. Maybe a slow one would of been better for him but he is god

    thankyou mecca

  • He really still rocks !! Paul <3

  • Lol 2.22 :D Macca should use his voice more like that, love it :)

  • This was so amazing, proud to say I was there!!!

  • His voice is definately going :(

  • @11geosno he"s nearly 68 and still rocking stop complainin

  • @11geosno he stressed it out the night before in Dublin

  • Helter Skelter not as raw as the original. What about the screaming feedback, and Lennon's chakka-chakka-chak-chak guitar?

  • @cantleysugar Maybe cause 42 years have past since it was recorded originally recorded in 68. Can you still still do everything exactly the same as you did 42 years ago ?? If you want that you still have the record..Be grateful Paul is still around to sing these songs in 2010.

  • Seriously amazing show :P So many great and epic songs :)

  • I was there. He's a legend. I live just up the road from the park. Walk my dog where Paul McCartney was playing. Surreal really, isn't it? What a fucking cool weekend...

  • even the band are rocking out and they play it alot- Live and Let Die is such a good song!

  • Huge performance! Isle of Wight ate it up!

  • Was there last night, those fireworks were insane!!!!!!!!

  • A moment and performance i will never forget! Truly amazing! Living legend!

  • awesome, i wish i had been there!

  • The moments I watched him perform were the best moments of my entire life.

  • @nichay3456 I have never gotten to see him!! Has never came close enough to Alabama for me to go and the timing has not been right...would love to see him, have been a fan since Ed Sullivan......maybe on of these days!

  • brilliant, prefered Helter Skelter - a song ahead of its time

    thanks for the posting
