  • Bruises? That is crazy! I didn't know about that! Very good info! Thanks for sharing!

  • You are right. I had a seminar put on by the surgical team about alcohol and how it is still in our system though we do not realize it. We think in our drunken condition that we are sober in reality we are over the legal limit.

I think this is something that has to be discussed more often. It is not necessary to drink to have fun.

I am not saying that I will never drink again. I am aware though now of the consequences. Plus, I would never drive following drinking.

  • I think this terrific advice. You are doing so well so it's good to listen to your words of wisdom.

  • lol i feel yoy hunnie its rare that i drink... plus im clumsy anyways lol thxs

  • Good information and advice. Drinking can be a real cross-addiction for us WLS people. Hope the Professor can make use of the Oatmeal Stout! Have you sworn off French Onion Soup too? :)

  • @inspector941 Professor was super jazzed that he got two! Thank you :) I am all over the French Onion Soup and who knows, maybe those stressors in my life will drive me back to drinking, they sure are trying their damnedest :)

  • This is an interesting video! My RNY does cause me to get tipsy faster but I also get sober faster as well!

  • @mypombella I know, drunk fast & sober fast. I totally did not mind that, it was the hangover, cramping and bruising that did me in. My body was just not having it. Thought this might be a good point to raise is others were having the same issue.
