I think you need to find help. Wanting to die, what sux is that could just be due to chemicals being out of balance in your brain. So scientific, but it doesn't feel that simple at all. I pray with all of my heart that one day, you'll live & see the beauty of life. I lovez you so much.

I've never really had any true hardships in my life, nor am I very religious.I just try to live life as lightheartedly as possible. This kind of music makes life feel even better. I'm just so glad that she made it out of such a time in her life and is now rich and still so modest. Lacey's a great person, definitely someone to admire.

Thats Good how u try to live light, but the reason the music feels good is because she has a relation with Christ- Its obvious she's special. You don't have to be 'religious' to feel the way the music helps people feel, just spiritually a relationship with God. Thats y she's blessed so much from her hard life. The band is awesum too

To me thirteen years. I Russian and at all do not understand English language, I learn it. I a little that have understood from interview Lacey, but I in a course that it was on drugs. Lacey the surprising girl!!! It very much is pleasant to me!!! I would not tell that my life dung... I only smoke and I take alcohol. But I also have not told that my life such good.... I compose songs in English and in Russian. And they of the same character as well as at Flyleaf. FLYLEAF - the BEST GROUP!!!

Flyleaf is awesome, "I'm so sick" is my fav song right now.!!! Check out a pop/rock/reggae band from Vancouver BC. Search for "Brandon Paris Band + Say Goodbye + Much Music" They're not like flyleaf but i happen to like them both. BPB are more...happy feeling lol!

Flyleaf are happy. They're conveying the message that even through hardships, it is able to recover and see the brighter side. I won't love Flyleaf as much as I do if they were like Paramore with the pop-happy sound.

@cineata they are an amazing band for sure and they let their feelings out through music which is wonderful and everything but i dont know where you get off talking about paramore like that, they went through hell and back to get to where they are today and their new album was trying to get away from the pop sound of "Riot" so please, mind other bands and respect them for what they went through, i have a huge amount of respect for flyleaf but even bigger for paramore.

@NarakuTheForbidden I was expressing my own opinion. I'm didn't say that they didn't go through any hardships, I know everybody goes through something at some point. Plus, that comment was made a year ago before Brand New Eyes was out. I'm just saying that Flyleaf's sound is what draws me to them. I love Paramore as well. I just happen to enjoy Flyleaf a bit more.

Lacey's story sounds a lot like my story. Sixteen year old single Mom, check... alcoholic, absentee musician parent (my Dad), check... violence in the house, check... experimenting with drugs at age ten, check... experimenting even further by my teens, check... Aha! There is at least one difference. I had no siblings. At least Lacey had siblings to talk to, until she moved...

A lot of people are commenting about the depression they are going through. I'm going through it too, and I want to say that you can always make it through. Nothing is worth killing yourself over. Lacey has lived through it, and she says that you can always start over, no matter the number of broken promises. But I say that even if you have nobody, you still have to choice of being somebody, of living your life to the fullest, relying on yourself. God will always be there to see you through.

yeah i suffer from severe depression since i was little and i tried to kill myself so many times but now i am getting help and i am happy that i am now i so can relate to lacey

I keep falling into depressions. I know I might have a sort of disease 'cause this isn't normal. I guess by saying "I'm depressed" doesn't really help your sight on it but really.. since being very little, I've been suicidal. I just can't control it. I don't need those "you will go through this" because of course I will. Or maybe not. Maybe I will die very young. Who knows, by this moment I don't feel like a real person. I'm just a person controlling a body. Hm.

this interveiw made me cry..and like,i don't understand the realy meaning of god or life because i'm loseing the love of god and the love for him..i don't understand realy wy i am? and the sade thing is???i'm only 12 years old and i hate life so much..and i wont to stop waking up every morning to all the crap in my life..i have tryed to pray to god to help me see the truth about life and i havn't seen it get and it seem that deth is getting closer and closer every day...

your going through a time where your faith wont show. Every single person has a time where they question if god is real. You need to keep prayin, god heres you, he doesn't always answer in the way you think. But he does answer. Don't lose faith. You have more in life meant for yu then 12 years. hang in the and pray every day. it really helps. You'll find your way.
