Gun ownership is meant for killing leftists when they get it in their mind to try and take our liberty. The Right to Bear Arms is of utmost importance to protect us from Tyranny. And, of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.
This is scary but not because its the NRA, I happen to think that imposing across the board gun control won't work. Rather its scary because a special interest group has such a close relationship with the White House -- the President serves the people not just people with guns.
Call me heartless but I really don't feel for anyone in the VT shooting. Whats more scary is that it is legally possible to buy a gun in the US and commit a crime or school shooting in Canada or Mexico, which has happened. If guns can travel to Canada or Mexica, they can find their way to Egypt, Iran, Iraq. I think the US is arming the world.
...its the largest supplier of weapons to foreign nations in the history of the world so...yea, where do you think all those terrorists got their weapons in the first place?
Leave it to a nutroot to disparage our second amendment. The tin-foil-hatted moonbats would emasculate everyone and leave them defenseless against all forms of evil.
Hell yes. My second amendment will be upheld in the highest office of the land. And we will continue to defeat the leftists who want to take our guns. Just think, the VT massacre would not have happened if students had been packing. Maybe two or three would have gotten it by that mad man, but someone would have gunned that scumbag down.
Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the people's liberty teeth keystone... the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable... more than 99% of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. When firearms go, all goes, we need them every hour.
I agree. So much happens to us in our university years. Jealous girl friends, spats with professors, alcohol use on campus, and all the ups and downs make university the life changing and life growing experience that helps so many of us. Mix in the fact that everyone has a gun and I don't think I would be alive before graduation.
we live in the country with a right to bear arms but if students were "packing" how much more often would college violence (fights etc) turn into homicides, think before you type
Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.
And the NRA working out of the WHite House is bad because?

That's the stupidest shit I've heard in a long time. More guns would mean more killing.

As places such as Washington D.C. and Great Britain have demonstrated.
In contrast, states that have enacted concealed carry provisions see a decrease in crime.
It's easy logic: the criminal does not want to get shot by their victims.
