Just like to point out that the term "pop" in pop music is an abbreviation for "popular" so to call the Manics is not an insult in any form. Unless you are a snob who only thinks a band is cool because yr the only one of yr friends who listen to them!
Oh imagine how big the Manic Street Preachers would be if they followed Everything must go up with this album..........ahhhhhhh, wheres all the big bands!!
James' main amps these days are Mesa Boogie Lonestars, a Marshall JCM900 head and Blackstar Artisan, sometimes in conjunction with a BOSS FZ-2 Hyperfuzz on the "Gain Boost" setting rather than Fuzz.
On the Foreverdelayed forums there's a thread there in the "Manic Musicians" section with a HUGE list of James' gear over the years, really comprehensive.
Ultimately though, a Les Paul and decent (preferably) valve amp will get you the basics. He's old-school like that.
Please dont call this a pop song pop music is the kindoff music that you could hear at like a club this is clearly indie, its the same as many of horror written by biffy clyro covered by matt cardle, loui walsh called it pop i was like wtf man biffy clyro are no pop band. THUMBS UP FOR ROCK AND INDIE
@pdj8484 Because the wider population have no taste, they'd rather listen to music which is mass produced from artists and bands which have no talent or passion for music.
@jackbrady1 Ok, yeah he's not like say John Paul Jones on Bass but he can still do a hell of alot more than Sid Vicious could. And he actually writes good Lyrics. Were as Sid couldnt even stand Straight
awesomeness by JDB and the crew, loving Nicky's spangly mannequin posing on the amp too...
But omg how cringeworthy after with the birthday thing lol lol lol. I'm sure it was meant to be a real cake...Dawn French couldn't resist eating it the greedy cow lol.
JDB is our greatest living guitarist.

I can't tell if this is Ramos or James on guitar- I bet Jools was confused as heck.

Tim Roth is on the covert because when Richey did whatever he did, Timmy's naked picture postcards were all that sustained Nicky Wire spiritually.

i am no expert..but i believe they became better after richie......

Why is Nicky moving around like an idiot? JDB looks great in contrast.
