  • only approx. 34.000 people die inn 1 day of hunger, diry water and illness relatively easy prevented.

    Thats not that many...

  • @VenusFriend

    I liked this example:

If a commercial plane filled with 300 children crashed into a mountainside in the United States, leaving no survivors, we would all surely hear of it on the news, radio, etc.

That scenario would be repeating itself every 30 minutes, to account for the rate of starving/impoverished children dying all around the world. Yet we hear nothing about the horrific living conditions fellow humans endure on a daily basis. Out of sight, out of mind.

  • @whacksteez i agree with you mate. that shooting in arizona. thats been on the news for like about a month now and they got abc cnn fox etc trying to scratch any bit of information from the shooting. However, why dont they even mention the casualties that go on around undeveloped countries. Think about this, if there was a suicide bomber in Iran and led to 1000 casualties, our media will probably mention it in a span of 10 seconds and never talk about it again.

  • @VenusFriend If only you die due to those causes, that's not many either. Wanna trade?

  • Good job! Great posts! Everything is not ok, and we are showing the world we can change it!

  • you know, we always talk about invading other countries to help them out. Invade iraq or whatever because their government is killing its people or starving them. Maybe another country should invade us to help us out. Because our government sure as hell isn't helping.

  • Great job, although it would have been nice to point out that starvation and homelessness are merely symptoms of larger problems.

  • Great video. I think the statement at the end really needs to be considered. What if it was 2 billion or 3 billion? Would an appeal be made by B-list celebrities to raise money to try and get it back up to 1 billion? What if the exponential extraction of cheap oil (which has gone hand in hand with the exponential growth in world) were to peak?

  • Wonderful. Thank you. I have posted something I think you might appreciate as well. It is called Sands of Oman.

  • can i also add, that your video has made a difference. i already support a homeless charity but tomorrow i will increase my monthly donation and look into donating to a couple of other charities too. there are gross inequities in this world but we the people can change them one person at a time. kind regards.

  • whacksteez, this is a really humbling video. thank you for making it and sharing it with us. i am quite shocked that some people on this page would write something adverse after watching such bleak information about the suffering of their fellow human beings. they are entitled to their opinions but i would urge you not to respond to right wing comments as i have always sais there are 3 types of people you can never reason with - the drunk, the nad and the unreasonable...

  • look at all or money going to Africa and Haiti. what would that money do if we took care of are own be4 others?

  • cmon Brian u kno that chick at 1:10 is a crack head look how she moves her jaw back and forth

  • this video disredited itself in the first 30 seconds. give me two minutes of my life back...i salvaged the last two.

  • shadowmancer1234 for you: i would like to now where you live?

  • I would love to see your evidence for making such a claim....

  • I'm still having trouble following your truncated train of thought..

    - You believe it's okay for 1% of the world's population to own 70% of the wealth, while 1 billion people are starving and completely impoverished?

    - You also believe (without any scientific proof) that some people are genetically predisposed to committing crimes and incapable of 'creating any type of economy'?

    - You suggest there is a correlation between IQ and monetary income?

    I'm sorry, I don't see your logic.....

  • Fuck you. Monopoly is awesome. Fuck the turd world.

  • @whacksteez

You can't see the logic because there is no logic. shadowmancer1234 is just regurgitating brainless crap he was told. He shows his bias with the stupid website he sites, called "fun nigger facts" . Seems really disgusting to me. He probably does not concern himself/herself with reality because he/she and or his/her parents are quite well off and feeds off the impoverished. His/her nonsensical claims are just to justify his ignorant position.

  • @whacksteez its not what he believes, its how hes been programed indirectly by the system and the media to believe... contrary to popular belief, we are all programmable just like a bunch of robots to think and act in certain ways.. the ones on top are just wealthy ppl who have learned how to use this power to manipulate the rest of us to think that this is how things should be!

  • @whacksteez 1% owns 40% of the wealth. Still a shitload too much.

  • @shadowmancer1234 I don't know...the only reasone the white race dominated was because they decided to go on a killing spree around the world. Doesn't exactly show off their superior intelligence.

  • @shadowmancer1234

I doubt you know anything about genetics...

  • @shadowmancer1234 Wow what's wrong with you man. You think that skin color really affects ones learning capability? or is it the evironment they come from. It's really people like you today, backwards thinking such as yours that has our society in the rut it's in.

  • @shadowmancer1234 dude your just a sick stupid basterd. Blacks are just as advanced as white. maybe not their economies and technology, but they are just as mentally advanced as whites. now, i will accept the black guy, the white guy, and the disabled guy, but not the faggot and the asian

  • I think most of us see the problem. What do you propose as the solution?

  • Watch it and we all should take action.

  • I completely agree!

  • Looks great. Good work!

  • The U.S. should be more involved with in its own borders before going out and igving hands outs to other nations when we have poor and needy people in our own country the iraq war is a war that could have been avoid. We lost so many in the twin towers and pentagon attacks but how many more did we lose by starting a war. We need to learn to keep ourselves in check before going off to do something irrational and stupid but all in all great video.

  • Great Job.

When will the movie be finished?

  • Thanks!

Hopefully in the next 6 - 8 months. I'm actually considering breaking down the full length project into small segments that could be posted as individual Youtube videos. This would speed up the process.

I've found that most people who are not directly interested in social/economic issues would rather watch a 10 minute informational video rather than a 3 hour documentary....

  • good work, what's the soundtrack?

  • Radiohead - Everything In It's Right Place

  • Remarkable

  • Great job! Keep up the great work. Will you be coming to the meeting on Nov. 13th in SF?

  • motivated people like you are the fuel of our movement.

good work and keep at it, man

  • I will... and thank you!

  • Whacksteez thats a quality video ma man, excellent on all counts! Welcome to the movement and thanks for the steller vid, can't wait to see more!

  • Thanks. I'm just doing my part.
