I think that this is the only thing you can do with a song like Blitzkrieg Bop and that is to bring a fresh new interpretation. If you play it like The Ramones, you might get the drums, bass and drums right on, but then the voice will be seriously lacking because Joey's vocals just brought it to another level. I like this version because it holds up on its own. As good as the original, no, I don't think so, but good, yeah, it think it is.
