@HurzUK2008 Thanks. It's a Yamaha P-120. Absolutely awesome keyboard for a piano player. The best touch/feel ever. Limited sound library, though, but that's not the reason why you buy it. It's been replaced by the 155 now. Check out Kyle Landry's channel. He used both with maestria.

I dont understand how uve played this song by ear in the wrong key.... Its actually easier to play starting with an 'a' chord. Good work nonetheless ^5

@s280426 I guess I hate playing in A. ;) And playing by ear doesn't mean I spent hours trying to reproduce the same sound. I just heard the tune once, and later sat at the piano and played most of it on the fly. I only keep the original tone if I intend to play along. Otherwise, I do what's more convenient for me. For some awkward reason, it turned out to be Cminor. Don't ask. I can make weird choices at times! :))) Thx for stopping by.

This is really good O.o I wish i could play this on piano or even on guitar yet i don't have a banjo capo so i am limited. Plus my old keyboard got taken by my brother to uni so i don't have that anymore. On a scale of 1 -10 for someone who doesn't have piano lessons or anything how hard would you say this is to learn?

Besides, a lot of wannabe guitarists have learnt how to play by themselves in front of Andy's videos so with some hard work and motivation, you'll get there. Check out the tutorial videos ;)

I tend to just make stuff up which sounds nice i never really learn any songs due to the fact i don't have any access to a piano except on fridays for like an hour without the internet O.o But do you reckon i'd have a good shot at it?

@jluvsmetal realistically you need more time to play i think, but as far as ability i see no reason anyone who is dedicated cannot, i play guitar and this inspired me to learn piano. Its the 1st and only song i can play on piano. Not the whole thing yet, but in about 2 weeks i got the 1st 1:40 of it down... then my cheepo keyboard died ;.; dont buy used keyboards...

@iluvmeoang I'm glad I could help a little. Don't try to play too fast from the start. Andy's version is quite rhythmic but it's a sad song that can easily be played real slow. It even gives a lot of extra emotion, I believe. Thanks for your nice comment.

And yet, most artists will offer very different versions of their own songs over time, or when performing live. Otherwise, it gets boring. A song has to be a living thing, I think. @Dynsium Since I suck on the guitar ;) I often play along while listening to some of Andy's tunes. Not Rylynn, but others, like Dolphins or She. It's nice that way. I don't have to play the main theme, just the background which is cool. I kinda like the sound of piano and guitar together. I wouldn't even dream of playing with the master himself :D
