The Splash/Water Jump was intigrated in X2 and X3, it could be executed without any upgrades. The last time which had the Splash/Water Jump was in Zero 3 and 4. Unlike in the former games, you needed a foot chip to enable it.

es parte del juego, tanto el X2 como el X3 te permiten saltar SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE del agua, si iorumes el boton saltar justo cuantos vas a tocar el agua puedes realizar otro salto, claro que si te tardas pues no funciona y te vas hasta el fondo

I fall from where you acces the water then One dash just at ceiling height, and then a Rising dash. No armor/nor cheats [now i think of it.. i think the leg upgrade is just on the other side Y_Y lol] well i guess i got the tank a little late that time

it not a cheat cause the game was made to do that. it quite tricky at 1st but then it easy to perform later.
