Yea, it is nice, but inconvenient. I like those wallbeds where the item on the underside of the wallbed (be it a desk, shelf/etc) does not need to be folded, but will move automatically so that when you are pulling the wallbed up or down, the shelf/desk/etc always stays perpendicular to the floor. That to me is a lot better than this, because you don't have to pack anything away every time you want to sleep.

@Jurk182 I made one, with the same reasoning. It's too costly for that kind of purpose. Better buy Modular sofas- they are used day to day and can be easily transformed into a bed for guests. Murphy beds(wall beds) are best used in kids rooms and bedrooms of 1-2 bedroom apartments.

id feel a whole lot better about this if it was make like a fireplace, in that its meant to be built into the wall. but most importantly, the desk should have a locking mechanism for that wobbly support. with those two things met, this is an awesome addition to a home library or office to have a queen for like your parents or inlaws staying over, but you have to do work during the day and they dont make the bed, you can just make it disappear till they go to sleep.

o, one last thing, from within the bed frame, table pull out starting right where it clear the vertical box. i bet alot of these would sell for cramped japanese apartments.

@Pimpmastahanhduece Try putting that bed with a Japanese style apartment. Another thing is they already have a foldable bed, that only needs a little closet space and accumulates less dust. Would you have that table in your library? Really? Try imagining yourself studying or drawing on that table.

Run a simulation in your head: how this peace of furniture will fit in a room/apartment/house you think is best for it.

i think it would work, since small apartments are almost entirely the beds at night, plus, not every japanese person likes to sleep on the ground, some like the western style raised bed format.
