Axel is not Riku's nobody. All the members had original names. Xemnas used Ansem's name adding the X and scrambling the letters. Like Zexion's was Ienzo adding the X and scrambling the letters. Axel for whatever reason already had the X in his name. His orignal name was Alex.

All the names of the members of organization XIII are the original, non-nobody (cause I can't think of a better word) names with an x thrown in and the letters rearranged. Roxas and Sora, for example. Xemnas took Ansem's name, instead. Axel can't be Riku if this is true (Find all the names of the organization before they became nobodies, add an x, and rearrange the letters. I know a couple are in those Ansem reports.) Besides, since when did Riku start using a chakram, or whatever it's called.

Riku, finally excepting his darkness completely (he lost the fear of it in CoM), somehow gained the form of XH, so the Guardian came to kick ass.
