Amazing video. Thank you for sharing. Amazing to see Phil with the big white mac on as a young lad. My father used to manage the Chrystal Ballroom during the 1960s maybe to early 70s for Bill Fuller. I cannot help but wonder was he there in any of these clips.

Talk about a blast from the past!! I remember Phil and The Black Eagles at the Franciscan Hall in Limerick in the early 60s. Fair play to you for posting this piece of social history!!!

Yeah, I was often in the Top Hat with Phil and the boys....... doing roadie, taking photo's etc... RTE filmed " Like Now" in the Top Hat...... Skid Row's performance was a disaster...... that's how Philip got the sack...... sang Strawberry Fields Forever....out tune........ by the way the scene where Philip is picking balckberries is at Stepaside.....not too far from Dun Laoghaire.
