Get a Mac - PR Lady

I have used XP, Vista, Win 7, Debian, Ubuntu, and OSX.

I liked the interface of the iMac, but it was no faster than a computer of equal specs (1/2 the price) running Windows. What I am really confused about is why Vista got so much grief. My desktop uses Vista and it works wonderfully. All these "problems" don't affect most of us. The Mac's problems are less advertised. All the "cool features" of OSX can be mimicked in windows and Linux.

A lot of mac advertisements don't direct the problems at the core problems that users deal with. It's a reasonably one sided debate on their part and it's working pretty well.

I'm a mac. I've been a mac for about a year now. I love mac and I will never go back. These commercial speak the truth. And I don't really care what PC's users have to say. I was a PC user for my whole life until last year. Please don't disrespect the mac unless you've used one.

@NikolasTerenceStow I've been a pc user my entire life. Now I'm typing on a macbookpro 2010 for 5 months. I use bootcamp. But preferably, if I could go back in time, I would spend my 1500 on a gaming laptop. Macbookpros aren't bad laptops, but so many programs are unavaliable. The trackpad's nice.

The biggest problem is that macs have absolutely 0 variablity. I've had 0 problems with vista, and used a free upgrade to windows 7. Computers= preferencial. Fanboys= lose

@theone2161 At work, I dual boot Vista and 7 on the same computer. They both have the latest drivers and service packs. Even so, Vista is considerably slower AND buggier than 7.

@theone2161 tell you the truth, home basic may be the most watered down version of Vista, but its actually the most reliable version. its ironic the most water down Version of a operating system is the best and most reliable, and the most expansive version of vista wtih all the stuff in (Ultimate) is the most laggy and unreliable (btw I have vista home basic and never had a problem either)

would you rather have a guy in a suit who knows what he's doing and clearly a dedicated worker working for you, or a "cool casual" guy? thats windows vs mac right there. you either like functionality and good price-performance value, or a flashy system with nice white peripherals and gadgets to make its use seem more yay.
